    I was trying to replace a pink lava-shaped nightlite my 4 yr old left in a hotel and this replacement did not add up. The glitter surfaces to the top after being lit awhile and it doesn't have the same level of pink brightness as the old one. I think if I weren't comparing it to one we lost (that she truely was attached to), I wouldn't be so critical. It's a fine nightlight, if you looking for a dull glow/light, especially for a sleeping baby. My baby does use this light, as well.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
