Oh my! I bought this product because my kiddo is ALWAYS trying to get into the kitchen items. Well you should have been there when he opened the UPS box! All of that evening, night, and the next day he was "feeding" us his food he made. He presses the buttons in a little sequence then hits start. watches the food spin and "cook" and then we all eat.

My kids love this toy! The beeping it makes is very much like a real *annoying* microwave but I could see past that since they had so much fun with it. Our first one broke and they loved it so much that I replaced it but the second broke in the same way within a few weeks. The plastic front "window" is very thin and breaks easily. I wish they had made the toy a little sturdier. The kids are generally good with their toys but drops and falls happen.

Our 20 month old grandson loved to push the buttons on our microwave. When I saw this I just had to get it. He loves it. He figured out how to use it in no time at all. The turntable really turns and it beeps when it is done. He loves to cook real crackers in it. The pretend play food is sturdy and has held up well.

Considering how little this item cost me, it is a great toy. My 19 month old son LOVES it! I have it sitting on his small table in his playroom with the small foods and utensils in a basket beside it. He learned within a few minutes, to open the door, put something inside, close the door, hit a number, and then hit start. He loves when the 'ding' goes off at the end and is eager to get the food out and serve it to me or my husband. The only thing that would make this better is for the door to open a little easier. He has a really hard time opening the door because the clamp that keeps it closed is really tight. It's no big deal though. His father or I am usually around to help him get it open, if he can't. He's learned how to pry it open with his hands by using his other hand to push the unit while using a hand to open the door.I would definitely suggest this product to friends!

My 2 year old son loves this microwave. He plays with it everyday. It is very realistic that is what keeps his attention. Well worth the money. Plus you get some play food too. I love that it isn't pink like most of kitchen stuff for kids. Works right out of the box.

Daughter Loves this microwave. The only down fall is the plates taht come with it doesn't fit inside the microwave. It did start making wierd noises after a few use, but that has gone away. Over all she loves it and its pretty neat.

My child received this as a Christmas gift and loved pushing the buttons and making noise. However, the food it comes with is almost all junk food! Soda can, croissant, pizza, chips, hamburger... It didn't come with any fruits or vegetables. Some real subliminal messages here. I would prefer if my child played with more healthier alternatives. We serve fruits and veggies in or home, along with pizza. I don't think I would have minded as much if they put some fruits and veggies in the mix.

My 3 year old daughter tries to play with this every time we are in the store. So we finally got one and she continues to enjoy playing with it. The buttons, sounds and lights are very realistic. I think this is why she likes it so much. The food that comes with it is kind of cheap. Plus it is not food that you would normally microwave... like a tomato? We have not had it long so I cannot comment on durability. But I would buy it again. It is affordable and is a great addition to her kitchen play set.
