Door opens easily and open back allows for pass through of mail between children. Wide stable base eliminates tipping. Sturdy red flag for mail pickup. Mailbox height is designed for drive-up delivery in most Step2 children's vehicles. Perfect accessory to Step2 playhouses (sold separately).

THE MAILBOX IS SO CUTE, VERY DURABLE. MY SON PLAYS WITH IT FOR HOURS WE BOUGHT HIM A PLAYHOUSE AND PUT THE MAILBOX OUT FRONT OF IT (JUST LIKE OUR HOUSE) WE PUT LITTLE NOTES (PICTURES HE IS ALMOST 2) IN IT SO HE CHECKS HIS MAIL WHEN WE GET HOME JUST LIKE US, WELL WORTH IT!

I bought this for my 18 month old daughter who absolutly loves our neighbors toy mailbox. This mailbox falls drastically short!!! This mailbox is so extremely light that she can't even open it without having to hold onto the mailbox to keep it from falling down. She does not play with this at all.
