My son played with his boat one time in our pool and now it won't work. It did take on a little bit of water, but nothing that I was concerned about. I was disappointed that it takes 4 hours to charge for only 15 minutes of playtime. The boat also seems to be very cheaply made - all of the clips that hold the boat together are not easy to click into place, and I was concerned that the clips would break if my son tried to do it himself. I thought this product was way overpriced for the quality. I was afraid to let my son take it to play, for fear that it would fall apart. This was a birthday present so it has been a huge disappointment. We are taking it back to the store this week because the battery wont even charge so there is no point in keeping it.

i bought this boat cuz the other fountain boat i have the engine died soi bought this one. i use this product on the lake.good color.the antenna.

This is the worse product I've ever bought. I went to the store to look at it before buying it. I was told I could not open the box until AFTER I purchased it, so I could not really check out the quality of it. After purchasing it and bringing it home, I was disappointed in the quality of it. It was very flimsy. Even the remote control was of very cheap quality plastic. After charging the batteries up overnight, I took it to a pond that had no waves at all. After 5-10 minutes, the boat started taking on water. I was not able to bring the boat back to shore because either the weight of the water that got inside the boat was holding it back, or the water was shorting out the battery. Luckily, there was someone on the shore with a kayak that went out to retrieve my boat. I will definately return it to the store. I would not keep this even if it were given to me for free.

After charging the battery up overnight, I took it to a pond that had absolutely no waves. It went out fine but after about 5-10 minutes, it started taking on water. Luckily, there was someone on shore with a kayak who went out to get it for me because there was no way it could have made it back to shore. Either the weight of the water was too much for the motor to drive it back, or the water affected the battery. Either way, I'll be returning it to the store immediately. I would not accept this even if it were free.

Not sure who was most excited about this toy, the birthday boy, his little brother or me. Drove to the grandparents pond to race and when we got there nothing but disapointment. Out of the box the servo linkage was not conected to the skag. Ok, I can fix that. I can't fix the fact that it wouldn't operate while in the water. Kind of a problem when you have a RC boat. Everything operates just fine when it's in your hand, but as soon as it is in the water, NOTHING! The disapointment on my son's face made me sad. I will never buy a rc toy from new bright again.
