12' x 36" Easy Set Pool Set includes pool, dvd and 110 - 120 volt, 530 gallon filter pump and filter cartridge. Pool safety tips to prevent injuries in this pool: Drowning Risk - Children are at high risk of drowning. Keep children in direct sight and stay close whenever they are in OR near this pool. Fencing Requirements - Some cities and towns require pools like these to have a fence of a certain height and strength around it. Check your city ordinances for fencing requirements before installing this pool. Pool Cover Danger - Never allow anyone in the pool when a cover is on it. You can become entrapped or entangled in the cover and suffocate. Do not stand on covered pool. No Diving - Never allow anyone to dive off the ladder or side of the pool. They can break their neck. Chemical Burns - Excessive or concentrated chemicals can cause burn injuries to users. Follow manufacturers instructions when adding chemicals to the pool. Sanitation - Test water regularly to ensure proper chemical balance and sanitary conditions. Keep safety equipment nearby - Have the following safety equipment near the pool: an approved ring buoy with reinforced rope; first aid kit; safety rescue pole, emergency procedures for water injuries; phone numbers of emergency rescue services. Keep pets away - Don't let pets swim in this pool. Their claws and teeth can puncture the pool.

Extremely easy to set up even for 1 person alone. Must be set up on level ground, not on even a slight hills. Clear all pebbles from under the area because they will cut throught the bottom after a while. 1st year I bought chemicals and did the upkeep that way. Then I added up the cost of 1600 gallons of water on my water bill and decided it was cheaper to drain and refill the pool once every other week than the cost of chemicals. I still use regular bleach during the 2 weeks, but not real pool chemicals. Hook a short hose up to the filter intake hole to use as a water vacume to clean the pool regularly. I enjoy doing this because I am spending time in the pool while moving the hose around. Cleaning the water filter every day is important also, but really the filter is so small it does not fully clean this pool. The optional cover helps with leafs, but it comes with holes in it which allow water to go from the pool to the cover then wash the dirt off the cover into the pool. I think this pool is not a full season pool, but great for holiday weekends, parties or a week or two at a time. Very, very easy to set up and use.

Bought this pool in 2009... no problem setting it up, can't really figure out why people say it is so difficult.. you blow up the ring and let the water make it rise.. pretty cool really.. My problem came with cleaning the darn thing. Because of the way it is constructed, the sides lean inwards, so it's not a straight up and down side. It should be like this: | | but it is like this: / \ ;) SO, when you go to clean it is somewhat difficult to get into the crevices there at the bottom where the algae like to hang out.. and in fl. it is soo important to keep the pool clean because our water gets just to the right temp to grow nasties (hence why we dont swim in the lakes here in the dead of summer). SO... I went out and bought a small chlorine floater (the kind for spas), a mesh net, and a mini pool vaccumme.. used those things to keep it in good condition, but those inner sides got slimier and slimier feeling.. Eventually I went in with a rag and scrubbed, but decided it wasnt going to be worth it longterm to have to do that. Good thing, because when i made that decision i saw the first of the grass popping through (used a tarp under btw).. then a tropical storm (Fay... massive flooding around here) came through and i will say i was impressed it stayed up! However, because of the issue with keeping it clean, I would much rather spend my money on a | | pool vs this / \ pool :)

We love the pool. We chose to build a wood border around the pool (one foot wider than the pool)We brought several truck loads of sand to fill the frame and placed two tarps on top of the sand. The pool went up fast, but it does take awhile to fill the pool. We purchased a solor cover (looks like blue bubble wrap) to help heat the water but mostly to keep the pool clean when not in use. Pool is big enough to have an air matteress and an an adult can make 4 breast stokes accross, so you can get some exercise. Very Very happy with this purchase!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have no idea what this product was like,waited 2 weeks for UPS to drop it off at my home and no pool.I called toys-r-us and they reorder the pool again.now I am waiting for the next shipping date.the summer will be over by the time I get to use it.

Second year owning this pool and am happy . Seems sturdy with two younger boys who love swimming . The filter dosen't have a lot of power to it , but it is a smaller pool . Isn't too hard to clean , of course I have to vacuum often . It's to be expected . As long as you maintain your chemicals , you shouldn't have any problems . Si I say unrecognized pools are nice and are worth the money !

The Intex 12x36 pool was a life saver with record breaking heat. 4 grandkids coming and needed something quick and easy to have fun. Even though the kids are used to an inground deeper pool at home in TX, coming to TN was a treat in the heat with this pool. No complaints here!

Just got this pool for my 5 year old. We set it up Friday and filled it. He swam in it on Saturday and we woke up this morning to it completely on the ground with about 4 inches of water left in it. Tried calling Intex and keep getting the recording that due to high call volume, they cannot take my call at this time. I am very disappointed in this product. I don't want to fill it up again because my lawn is already saturated from the water coming out.

Will never know about the pool....

I will never know about the pool since I have to return it. I can't find a ladder!!! Can't use the pool without the ladder and online prices are over $50. What good is getting a pool for [$] if I have to spend even more for a ladder and a new pump!!! Completely dissatisfied. It should come with a ladder.
