I put this up to prevent my 1 year old son from pulling on my surround sound speakers, which are wall mounted. I attached the adhesive mounted them to the wall and inserted the speaker wire. I ran out to do some errands and when I returned I noticed the wire channel had fallen off the wall. Ok, maybe I didn't stick it well enough to the wall. I put it back up and pressed it hard to the wall. Within 30 minutes it had a fallen off again! The adhesive is junk! I'm going to attempt to drill a small pilot hole in the channel and attach it to the wall with screws but that really defeats the purpose of the product. I'm really sick of baby safety products that are high priced and are garbage!!!Try WireMold products - you can find them at [...].

Our cable comes into our family room on one wall, under a window, and we have our TV on an entertainment center on the wall beside the 'window wall.' The cable wraps around both walls at the base, so I thought this product was perfect. First, they're not nearly long enough, although I could have bought a couple more sets (I think one set is expensive enough, though.). Secondly, they refuse to stick to the wall. I carefully followed all instructions, to no avail. My 11-month old son loves playing with the cable wire, which is why I need something to secure it. Instead, he got this piece of non-sticking plastic covering the wire to play with. We returned it today.

We have these in several places throughout the house. They are GREAT.

Pros:
1) Totally covers several cords at a time.
2) You can't even tell they are there on white molding.

Cons:
1) The sticky stuff is weak. Just go out and buy a roll of super strong double sided padded tape in any office supply area of any store and you'll be fine.
3) They are a little hard to cut (if you want an exact amount of length shorter than the stock length)
2) I wish they came in packs of more quantity! This is pricey if you want to do several feet of cord covering.

But once you get them up, they rock.

I love the look of these vs. having wires stapled or taped to the wall. There is enough space for thick wires also. Since I read reviews before I bought them... I saw that people had a hard time with it sticking to the wall... I went ahead and not even try the adhesive that came with it, I screwed it from the inside of the guard (where no-one could see the screw) to the wall. The funny thing is my daughter keeps looking for the wire she used to play with.

I followed the instructions to have them stick to the wall. They fell off within minutes and the cords weren't even in them. What's the point in using them if they don't stick. Instead of just the cord, now the child has the plastic gaurd and cord to tug on. Save your money and use clear plastic adhesive tape to stick the wires to the wall. I will be returning these for this price.

We used this product to hide speaker wires that our toddler kept tripping on and playing with, and that the cat kept chewing on and playing with. We followed the installation instructions which are super easy to understand, but the adhesive does not stick well. The wire guards fall off the molding and the wall (we tried both ways) by themselves. Plus, our toddler keeps pulling them off after we try to stick them back on. The product isn't a bad product. It kinda does the job. I'm going to try using permanent adhesive tape used for mounting pictures and see if that works. Plus, as unattractive as it sounds I might put a couple of tote boxes along the wall until the attraction fades.
