We bought this dresser for my son's nursery, the drawers would come off track and pieces started falling off. After 4 months we moved to NY and the dresser literally fell to pieces in my husbands hands during the move. It was not salvageable, the dresser crumbled to pieces. We threw it out and spent the money on a much better quality dresser.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We put this together for our 2 year old son. The build quality is what I expected, not top end materials but well done and the fit is good. The top got dented in shipment and we'll have to send that back; one of the drawer faces had what appears to be a packaging abrasion that we're going to try and have replaced also, but that stuff happens so no big deal. A slight knock against the unit: the drawer faces are roughly 8" tall ...the interior drawer sides are 3" tall. So if you plan on stuffing them full, things may topple to the side and cause issues opening. We put shoeboxes/baskets in them and they work nicely otherwise. I've gotten inexpensive units similar to this in the past and the drawer slides were a pain, these work perfectly smoothly.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This product is wonderful for the price. This is not quality construction that will last a lifetime. It does look very nice, and I would expect it to last until my son is ready for big-boy furniture. My husband's only complaint is that it comes in tons of pieces, and it took him a long time to put together.
