The variety of colors makes for endless possibilities for creative, colorful fun! Cleaning up is easy; just remove the excess compound, allow the remaining compound to dry, then scrape or vacuum it away.

The Play Doh brand is proud to celebrate over 50 years of colorful, creative play. Play Doh first introduced in 1956, Play Doh modeling compound has become a classic and beloved toy, used in homes and schools around the world by children of all ages. In 1956 Play Doh Brand modeling compound, a non-toxic reusable modeling compound developed by Rainbow Crafts in Cincinnati, Play Doh was demonstrated and sold in the toy department of Woodward & Lothrop Department Store in Washington, D.C. Play Doh compound is available only in one color and size, an off-white, 1.5-pound can. One year earlier, Play Doh was introduced to schools, kindergartens and nursery schools. In 1991 Play Doh compound joins Hasbro, Inc. as part of the Playskool line, when Hasbro purchased the Tonka Corporation and its Kenner and Parker Brothers divisions.

Ok, its Play-Doh; you either like it or you don't. We love it so having a box with a rainbow of colors to choose from is great. To make it last, keep the tops closed tightly when not in use and use a non-stick surface. I like to tape wax paper to the art table so the kids can easily scrape up the doh.

this can keep my niece busy for hoursss and even though it can be messy , its worth it. I also keep this boxes because i buy them everytime i see them on sale. Last month my son turned 1 and i had 50 kids(from 1 to 6 yrs) running around the backyard so i had this puppets show but the big ones where kinda screwing the show so i decided to take the play doh boxes and what happened next was awesome- No more party crashers around!
Also try the Play Doh Sand! its great, but for older kids of course- small kids arent yet prepared for it.

Playdoh is great and nearly every child loves to play with it. I bought this for our 2-3 year old Sunday school class. I didnt realize they were the teeny tiny cans! But its still ok.....
