My husband and I are going with the CoCaLo Sugar Plum collection all over our daughter's nursery, and we were so excited to see it had a matching border, especially one that was "pre-pasted". I've worked with wallpaper before that was pre-pasted, with no problems at all, and it was even cheaper than this wallpaper. I assumed I could hang it all up by myself (all four 1/2 rolls we ended up needed), but I was wrong. The "paste" would not stick on the top or bottom on any of the rolls. The wallpaper kept sliding off. We ended up using seperate wallpaper paste that we had and not using the "pre-pasted" stuff at all. Once we got around that hurdle, though, it was very cute and well worth the time and effort.

My husband and I picked this out as we had a room that was already green and wanted to paint the top half purple with a border between. Neither of us had put up wallpaper at all before and it turned out to be more of a hassle than we thought. A few tips:
1)Each piece is about 15 feet so we weren't sure how to best soak it. We ended up just using a bucket and unraveled the roll inside. It worked fine.
2)We had just painted so we had the plastic leftover. It came in handy for laying out the wallpaper to set for 5 min. and for catching the large amounts of "goo" that drip out as you apply the border.
3) We used our hands at first as the directions stated and had a really hard time getting it smooth. My husband remembered we had a squeegee, and everything went a lot faster and smoother with that. I recommend having something on hand to smooth it flat.

The end result looked great! I'm not sure I would do a wallpaper border again, not so much because of this product but because it seems like a hassle in general. I did have the same problem as others with the edges curling up in some places. I might try some wallpaper glue as others suggested.

I love this border. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes to complete our daughters room. She is still yet to arrive, however, the room is beautiful. I suggest you don't try to complete this task with just one person. We had no problem rolling each roll out and soaking it and then applying it to the wall. We purshased the border through [...] because it was cheaper. I am happy we chose the Sugar Plum design. So happy with the border.

Our daughter's nursery is Sugar Plum it was exactly what I had pictured in my head. My husband and I used a light purple with the border as chair rail and light green on the bottom. It looks amazing with the collection and our cherry furniture. Border is only 15ft so plan accordingly for your room (we needed 2 and a half rolls for our 11x12 room). You can also trim the wall border to use for scrap booking or to add butterflies to the wall. Be sure to wet the border very well to get to stick to the wall.

After following the instructions, my husband and I were done with the whole process of putting up one roll of this wall border (15 feet) in less than 30 minutes. First unfold the roll, then book it, soak it in warm water for 45 seconds (make sure that all of the paste is getting soaked), take it out of the water and let it sit for 5 minutes. When applying to the wall, we just placed the bottom edge of the border right on top of the previously traced line along the wall, and squeegee'd it flat (we used a wood ruler to squeegee) as we applied the border. Keep a sponge/towel handy to dry excess water/glue as you go.

I've never put up wallpaper before and I wanted to use this as a chair-rail level border. My husband and I put it up. There are a couple of things I do suggest to make this process easier. Like someone else on here suggested, cut the wallpaper into smaller strips because it's very messy, which smaller strips will help curtail, and the paper peals up on the edges more with bigger strips. Also, the wallpaper is probably going to detach from the wall on the edges a bit after it dries, but if you buy a couple of cheap wallpaper border glue tubes, you can add this underneath the edges after the rest has dried and it completely adheres.

This product isn't perfect because you'll probably need to go back behind some edges a second time to get it to stick completely, but after you do that, it is beautiful and is securely adhered to the wall. Love it and would do it all over again!

Just to give an estimate on how many rolls you'll need, I needed 3 for a 14 x 21 room.

my husband and mother in-law put the wallpaper up today... they had a hard time keeping the ends and edges up.... we finally had to go buy extra glue to get them to stick. no problems with color fading yet.... but I love the boarder

It is a little messy to put up, but we've had it up for about 3 months now and it still looks great. Only reason I did not give it a 5, is because the colors faded a bit on the border, after leaving it soak in the water for the recommended amount of time. But, it stilllooks great, holds well, I recommend it!

this border went up soo easy. we followed the directions but you should roll the up the border from the opposite way it was packaged (to make it flatish)then we just soaked it for the recommended time in a wallpaper tray with warm water, "booked" (folded back and forth like a fan) and smoothed it out on the wall with our hands then used a wallpaper roller to get out any bubbles. theirs no way that border is falling down.lol. It looks fantastic, and everyone who see's our daughters room says that it's soo adorable. hope this helped.
