After reading reviews on this item I noticed many people said the hoop kept falling off...it's because you didn't really SNAP IT IN! We had the same issue for the first few minutes until my husband used his "muscle" to really snap the hoop into the backboard. You'll hear a nice "pop" on each side letting you know it's securely in. Trust me, it doesn't fall off once snapped in.My son (19 months) really likes this hoop so far! The only negative would be the time it takes to attach the net to the hoop, it isn't easy. Also, ours came missing the little plastic piece that allows the height to be adjusted, so we have to return to the store to get it. Other than that....it's a nice little toy for[$] (got it on sale).

We bought this toy for my 21 month old for Christmas and it is a great toy. The lowest setting is the perfect height for a toddler. We all played with it as a family and didn't have any trouble. It stands up perfectly fine and never fell over and the rim and net worked just fine without falling off. We've been using it since christmas and no problems has risen of yet.

We bought this goal for our 2 year old son for Christmas. He loved it and wanted to play with it, but the hoop will NOT stay on. It keeps falling off, even without being touched. We are returning this goal and will purchase the one from Fisher Price.

My 2 year old just got this for an early Christmas present. He couldn't wait to use it and played with it all evening. It was easy to assemble, except for the net, which took some muscle to get on (be sure to follow the directions exactly). It also calls for sand to be put into the base to keep it stable, but it seems fine without.

My 3 year old likes the goal but after barely any use, it began to lean forward at the base and the "clip" that holds the adjustable pole kept falling off.

My son got this product for his birthday. We were excited to put it together, but once he started playing with it we noticed the hoop will not stay connected & falls off.(not the netting the actual plastic hoop) If your child simply touches it or if you move the product the hoop falls right off. My daughter keeps bringing it to me and asking me to fix it. =[ Good product if your child doesn't plan on touching the hoop or hitting it with the ball when shooting. lol Not worth it in my opinion.

It was a breeze to assemble, however, the rim was poorly made since it frayed the net due to sharp edges. Also, it was not made properly and the net will not stay attached on three of the "clips."

I bought this for my 2-year old nephew, who was very excited about it, until I put the hoop in, he made a basket, and the hoop fell off. Even worse, after putting the hoop back in and me made another basket, the whole unit easily fell over on him (it says sand is "optional" as a stabilizer, but I don't know how anyone can actually use this without sand). A woman at Toys R Us raved about this toy, as did some people on this web site. . .but the others, like me, seem to have gotten a "dud." Perhaps there are different manufacturers, some are good, some are not, I dont' know. But buyers beware.

My 2 year old son received this as a birthday gift and he loves dunking the ball. It was easy to put together and can stay inside or go outside. It also raises easily so it can grow with them..... I would recommend this to anyone!

Not satisfied with this toy at all. It's very flimsy and doesn't seem very well made--so not typical of any other Little Tikes toy we've bought for our 3 year old son. We will be returning it for something else.
