The overall construction of the chest is great! I was, however, disappointed that the upper right corner of the dresser was damaged - 1" X 1". The wood was completely disintegrated. Secondly, the instructions were somewhat difficult to follow since they are only diagrams and appear to be a copy of a copy. Finally, the inside of the drawers were white. Seems that a natural wood color would make more sense for a cognac chest.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I really have not got to use this dresser. I'm waiting for the arrival of my first child, but so far I guess it's nice. I would of like it to be all soild wood, for the price. The drawers feel kind of cheat, but it could be that I don't have anything in them yet. I just hope it holds together for a while. But it sure does look very nice!

Very poor construction. The dresser drawers fell apart within a 2 weeks. The whole dresser had to be replaced. Based on my experience and other reviews, this company does not make great furniture.

Color is perfect, matches Angelina crib in cognac (warm red/orange finish).

Instruction doesn't have any words and it hard to follow (some pieces are difficult to distinguish).

Poor finish (sharp edges not sanded properly, some small stains etc).

Drawer sides are about half of front board (very shallow).All inside is white board.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
