My 4 year old grandson loves pirates. I bought this chest to go with some other pirate items for his birthday. He loves the chest and the secret draw. He keeps special things in this chest and has a great time.

I ordered 2 treasure chests and they are so cool. They look well made and I love the hidden space in it. The only thing that I would change is the latch. It is made of plastic and looks like it could brake. Everything else looks great.

My daughter went crazy for her very own treasure chest. It's sturdy and easy for a 3 year old to open and close. On Christmas morning my daughter, the pirate, wouldn't take the eye patch off of her eye for well over an hour. Maybe they could add a pirate hat to complete the look. The coins are great and it was the perfect gift from Santa.

This pirate chest is just so cool! My 3 year old became a pirate after our trip to Disney World, and when he opened this Christmas morning, he was ecstatic! It is very realistic-looking, like a real pirate would have, and tons of fun to play with. The only drawback was his rowdy friend broke the hinge by opening the lid too far and too hard, and so we had to replace the hinge because there was no way to repair it otherwise. I think the hinge could have put on better. It was attached by little tacks, really, and easy to break. But it's worth the money to have a replica like this!

My son was so excited to get this, but I had to return it because it broke within a week. I did buy another and that has broken too. I wish they made it a lttle better for the money. Great idea just needs a little work to make it great.

Unlike the other review I was very disappointed in this product. I thought it was cheaply made. After 1 day of play it was broke. My 5 yr old was upset too.

My 7 yr old has had this treasure chest for over a year and he still loves it.
He uses it to store his money, medals from school and sports, and any other important things.
The coins and pirate accessories have been used for pretend play, but the secret compartment of the chest is his favorite feature.
This toy is very well-made and looks great in his room.
Cool buy! :)
