This reminds me of toys we grew up with and played with for years. I purchased this toy because it seemed fun and had the potential to teach.
However when my toddler put the pieces in his mouth, the colored paint came off onto his teeth. Most other products from this brand are great, but we're not keeping this one.

This toy is wonderful. We purchased it for our 18 month old for Easter and he has played with it everyday since it arrived. Great quality, the toy is very well made. What I love most about it is the multitude of lessons that can be worked on with this activity - colors, shapes, counting, etc. Definitely a toy that will grow with our son!

I bought this for my 2 year old and he loves it. Not only can we review his shapes, numbers and colors but it encourages his creativity. He uses the different shapes to make stuff for example he takes the square and the triangle and makes a house. Its really interesting watching him play with the shapes. I would definitely recommend this toy

My daughter got this at 18 months old, which I think is the perfect age for this toy. When she would first play with it, she would just put the shapes on anywhere (and not match colors). Then as she learned about colors, it became fun to match the colors. Now at 22 months, she can put it together very quickly. I think that if you wait until they're 2, then this toy is a little simple, but at 18 months, it provided us with many hours of fun.
