I put my newborn in it from day one. It is warm enough for the cold Chicago weather without haveing to have a blanket on her while she sleeps. It is also roomy so my baby can kick and wiggle all she wants.

I have been using Halo sleepsacks since receiving 2 of them from the hospital when my daughter was born. I also buy them for others as shower gifts. You can only swaddle for so long. After that you are left with the task of keeping baby safely warm while sleeping. The sleepsack does just that. My one year old still wears them at night and is very comfortable in them. I use the fleece sleepsack in the winter, too.
