My son (age 7) really enjoyed this toy. So did I, really. It sparks creative thinking as well as logically thinking with the way that he had to set it up and discover different directions to put the ramps that make the marbles go. He could use some of the ramps or all of them. Be careful though because the plastic, while sturdy enough to hold the marbles and stand upright, could easily be broken if stepped on or ran over with another toy or say, a wheelchair. I make sure he plays with it at the table and make sure he picks up all of the pieces. It came with 12 marbles, but one of them was shattered into little pieces when it arrived which he thought was a little disappointing but that still left him with 11 marbles to play with so he was happy.

My first opinion of this item when I opened the box was that it was cheap. Bright and colorful but the plastic is thin, flimsy and I don't feel it would last very long at all. [...]Toys R Us, however, did have a great item for the same price by Imaginarium with twice the parts and of good quality on the shelf. My daughter loves it. I wish I had gone to the store to begin with.

What A Disappointment!

This one looks like a mini version of what it should be. There are much better marble mazes/runs out there for less money. I have buyer's remorse.

Such a Blast!
from Boston, MA
I bought this for my little cousins a few weeks back, mostly because I remembered how much fun I had with a very similar game when I was a kid. I was actually a little concerned that they might be slightly too old to enjoy it, so I was kind of nervous how it would go over. Turns out they couldn't stop playing with it, according to my uncle. In fact, when I went to visit a few weeks later, the first thing they asked was to play with it! And it was just as much fun as an adult as I remembered it being as a kid!

Be really careful taking it apart to make a new maze. The parts break very easily. Its fun but probably only worth $15

So far my son thinks this toy is awesome. we bought 2 of this set so it can be connected into 1 huge marble run. this is the first toy he wanted to play with after opening Christmas morning.

About Me First Time Parent
Unfortunately this is the only marble-maze our ToysRus carries. I recall this toy from when I was growing up and it was thick/sturdy plastic parts. This model has vibrant color pieces, but they don't stack well & some don't fit. It wobbles/leans even on hard floor. Cheap plastic marbles included. Almost $30 on this toy? Not worth it.
I would buy again - 4 year old loves it.

About Me Parent Of Two Or More Children, Stay At Home Parent
Bought this for my son's 4th birthday. We opened it this morning and have played with it on and off all day. We have set it up and re-set it up in different ways and he can't get enough of it. He said it was a cool toy. I did buy an extra bag of marbles to go with it figuring we would lose some. Easy to assemble in your own designs but also easy to copy the images on the box - be aware though, there are no instructions in box. It is a smaller set so great for first timers.

It takes a bit of thinking to get it together to get the most run from the marbles but that's the whole idea of it. Wish there were enough pieces to make a variety of different runs.
