I bought this for my daughter who is really fascinated by spiders. She was thrilled and played with it for about two days when the batteries died.
We changed the batteries on both the spider and the remote. It worked briefly then Nothing. Zilch. We changed the batteries again, just in case - and Nothing. Dead. No longer working.

Results- an upset child and a disappointed consumer.

this spider is hilarious. it's legs move like it's walking and it is so funny -- and realistic (if it weren't so big..) my 4 year old works the remote perfectly. we've only had it a week but so far so good. hopefully it won't die like others have reported. but it is a great gift!

This product made our sons excited to open them and they spent the entire day after Christmas playing with them. Realistic and provided lots of fun. The second day they both stopped working, even with battery changes. Unfortunately, the company who manufactures them doesn't care that they toys don't work anymore....surprise, surprise and they can't be returned now because the packaging is thrown out, so out to the garbage they go. Don't waste your money on these things. Cheap remote control items often do this.

I bought this for my daughter this christmas 09 this was one of the toys she wanted the most and the same day she opened it played it and the second time on the same day it wouldnt work. She was sad so I'am going to try again and buy anothor one because i didnt save the reciept hope this one works!!

We almost didn't get this for our 8 year old boy who was ding for it due to others reviews we had read....but, it was awesome! We loved it! It ran GREAT on our carpet & tile & EVERYTHING> It was really cool & creepy. Reall alot better than the reviews we saw....Would buy again 4 sure!

This thing looks creepy, even when it's sitting still! It is easy to manuever and durable. The movement is a little bit more lifelike than just a wheeled object, since the legs move back and forth as it moves. It is ideal for pranks!

My daughter was very excited about this toy--she picked it out as a reward for good grades. We installed the batteries, turned it on, and nothing. It didn't work. We had it turned on, we checked the batteries to be sure they were in the right way, and it just didn't work. Her comment was, "what a rip-off."
