My son got this set for his 4th birthday and was SO excited when he saw them. He immediately took to them because of the lights and sounds they make. However, within a few hours of him getting them out to play, the bigger gun ceased to work. It was sad to see his face once we figured out it was broke and it wasn't just the batteries.

VERY MUCH THE "SPACE AGE" TYPE THEME WHICH MY 9 YEAR OLD SON IS INTO. LIGHTS UP AND MAKES DOZENS OF DIFFERENT SOUNDS WHICH ARE NOT TOO LOUD AND ANNOYING AS WITH OTHER TOYS LIKE THIS. ALSO THE SWORD IS NOT SHARP, POINTY OR HARD WHICH IS SAFER. (WILL NOT LAST FOR YEARS AND YEARS THOUGH).
