Product Description

Alphabet Squiggle introduces letters to kids in a fun and clever new way. Kids will learn and improve letter recognition, stimulate their creativity and even strengthen their vocabulary. Children who are just learning letters and those who already know them well will enjoy playing. Watch how surprised they get when they see how much they can do with letters. Players move along a path of letters. For every letter they land on, the players must find that letter on the outside edge of the board and either trace it or write it from memory on the sketch paper provided. If they're feeling creative, they can turn their letter tracing into a picture, write a word that begins with that letter, or create a drawing that begins with and reinforces that letter.

Comments about Random Line Alphabet Squiggle:

This game packs such an unbelievable punch. It is incredibly educational, and so fun that it's still one of my almost-6 year old's favorite games after a couple of years of playing it. They really thought of everything. One side has capital letters, which are easier to start with, and lower case letters on the other side. After landing on a letter, the child finds the matching letter around the outside of the board and uses a pencil and paper to trace it (fine motor skills). Then the child has to either write a word that starts with that letter, turn the letter into a picture, or (when more advanced) turn the letter into a picture of something starting with that letter. What's great is that you can cater it to any learning level. My daughter and I have begun making up rules for the other person to follow for each turn. For example, "You have to turn the 'B' into an animal that starts with a 'B', or turn the 'O' into something that has two 'O's in the middle of it... and do it with your eyes closed!" It's a game that is worth every penny. It's well made, doesn't take too long to play, and is a definite winner all around.

Comments about Random Line Alphabet Squiggle:

This is a unique game. We purchased this for our kids (ages 5 and 7 1/2) and they love it! I think it's because it's not like a typical board game. Yes, they roll a dice and move around the board, but they have to write the letter they land on. I thought this was a neat idea. Then they can turn their letter into a word or turn it into a picture to move more spaces. So it really encourages them to think and be creative. Really cool! We love to squiggle.
