This is an awesome, must have monitor for every parent. I used this until my kids could get out of bed on their own, and even after that when they were sick. I also used it recently for my oldest child who was going through sleep anxiety, afraid someone would steal him out of bed. The monitor reassured him that the alarm would go off if someone tried to take him out of bed. Sounds silly...but it worked liked magic, and it only took a few nights before we started "forgetting" to turn it on, and he out grew the fear. A couple pointers: Put a piece of plywood under the monitor before placing it under the mattress. It increases the accuracy.Be careful if you are using a humidifer or fan in your baby's room. The vibration will confuse the monitor. Test it out. Turn on the fan or humdifier and turn on the monitor. Pick your baby up out of the crib. If the monitor does not go off in 20 seconds, then move the fan or humidifer to another location and try again. I also used this in a toddler bed and a twin bed. It really is amazing and I can't imagine every new parent sleeping through the night without this! When I bought it I paid [$] and I have bought one for every baby shower since. It is worth every penny. How much would you spend for your baby's safety??

Get a good night sleep with this. No more checking the baby every 20 min. Easy to use, works great. You're crazy if you don't love this product.

This monitor is a must have! I was a very nervous first time mother and my son would only sleep on his stomach, which meant I would not sleep since I was watching him the entire time. Once I got this monitor I could sleep when he slept. Make sure and get a piece of plywood to lay the sensor on!

This review is for all of those parents out there that don't know which monitor to buy. We have had this monitor since my 18month old baby old was born and I wouldn't change this monitor for anything in the world. I know that there are many different monitor's out there but by far none that work like this one does.
This monitor saved my son from choking one day while he was taking his nap, I had feed him his lunch (milk at the time) he was about 7 months old than and he must have had a gas which caused all his milk to come up and he started choking and if the monitor hadn't gone off we think he could of choked without us even noticing. Although it does not have a little tv to watch the baby, we sleep very at peace with this monitor. So please take your time in reading review's.

We got this monitor as a gift with our 1st child and we just had a third baby and are now using it with our third. Gives all parents peace of mind! Does sometimes give false alarms if baby rolls into corner of bed or if sensativity is not set correctly but I would rather a false alarm. Alarm woke us up once when are child had croup and couldnt breathe. We were so thankful we had this! We just bought an additional one for my parents to have at their house when they are watching the baby.

Love this product! I tell everyone to get this. I have used it with all five of my children. In fact I just had twins and purchased another one. I did have a false alarm one time and was relieved that it was a false alarm.

I LOVE this product. The sensor is extremely sensitive... if you are walking around the room it will pick that up, if an animal IE dog is in the room it will pick up their movement too. You need to adjust the sensor to where the alarm does NOT sound while baby is in crib and you are perfectly still in the room.

I used this with my son until he was nearly 2 years old, and I will use it with my next baby also. Its a great piece of mind to know he is safe.

Now the actually baby monitor part is not the best, picks up a lot of static and phones etc but I bought it just for the sensor.

We've used this monitor with both of our children and LOVE it! I was VERY anxious with our first child after several SIDS deaths in our extended family over the years. I was terrified to sleep until I found this monitor! It was truly a lifesaver for me. I knew I could sleep and my baby would be safe! I tell everyone I know about this monitor! It is so worth the price; what an investment...a true sense of security!

I love too that you can use it without the sensor pad also. We have an RV and go often, but can still take the monitor with us without taking the sensor pad. As the kids got older the sensor pad was not necessary but a basic monitor still was. Cannot say enough good about it!

I do not feel that this product is a good investment. The alarm sounds all the time for no reason. I have adjusted the position of the board and the level of sensativity. The alarm at one time went off 11 times in under 20 minutes while I was watching my daughter breath and kick her legs.

We got this monitor off our registry and we could not be more happier with this item. We have a preemie who is now 4 months old, 2 weeks out of the hospital and this monitor makes it easier for us to sleep knowing that if she stops breathing the alarm will sound. Have had no problems with it going off with no reason. It hasn't gone off but once and she was fine. Good product! Worth the money to me!
