Comments about Mamas and Papas Mamas & Papas Armadillo Stroller - Blue Indigo:

I'm a first time mom and this is the only stroller I've ever used and I'm very pleased so far. I did a lot of research prior to picking this stroller - I did not want to end up with a stroller collection! The setup was simple and features are intuitive- easy to fold/unfold, lock/unlock front wheels, and engage brake. It's relatively lightweight and folds up nicely for easy storage. I have the Chicco car seat adapter and it works great- very easy to take on and off and the car seat easily clicks in and out of the stroller. The only negative is that you do have to remove the adapter to fold the stroller, but so far that hasn't been a big issue for me. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Comments about Mamas and Papas Mamas & Papas Armadillo Stroller - Blue Indigo:

We love our Baby Jogger City Select but it is not travel friendly, so we bought a cheapo umbrella stroller- you know what they say, you get what you pay for, so the search was on for a better alternative! After HOURS of researching, I stumbled upon the M&P armadillo. The one handed fold is as easy as advertised and the one hand steering is fantastic. I love that there is a roomy and usable basket, unlike many umbrella strollers! I love that the recline is almost flat and my son can nap without his legs being bent. It also only takes up the quarter of the room our CS does in the back of our SUV.
I wish that it had rubber wheels on it for a smoother ride, but it's not a deal breaker as we only got this for short trips. If M&P could add a belly bar or child tray and make the seat sit upright at 90 degrees, and a telescoping handle this would be the perfect lightweight.
All in all, this is hands down better than ANY umbrella stroller on the market!

One downside, I brought my first stroller home and found that the color was PURPLE! It was a pretty color, however my husband did not want my son in a purple stroller, so I had to drive back to the store and have them open up the next box until we found a true blue one.

*Hurry! I was ready to pay full price but to my surprise I was able to this stroller last weekend on clearance at BRU for 219.99!! I'm not sure why this is still full price online!

Very roomy for a larger baby. Legs have plenty of room to grow. Wider and longer than Britax or City Mini. Basket underneath has plenty of room. Huge canopy which is great for southern California sun. I have a bad back so the easy, one handed fold (without having to bend over) is a huge plus! It's about 17 lbs which is also a bonus. Has places to attach stroller toys on both sides.

Comments about Mamas and Papas Mamas & Papas Armadillo Stroller - Blue Indigo:

The stroller is very good, the style is beautiful and looks expensive (I compare with the bugaboo) It is easy to set up, open and close is easy. The only thing why I'm not 100% satisfied is that I bought the blue and they send me a purple one O.o .. In the options that they give there is not a purple color to choose from. If you decide for the blue one Think that its not a blue that you will get. They call blue to a Purple color. I think the company should be honest and show purple instead of blue. I will return the stroller in the store and see the options they give me.

Great stroller, has a lot of space for the baby to move. The use of the breaks is really simply. The canopy is huge. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it is a bit heavy. Being a petite mom, I can't really fold it with one hand and carry it like they say. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stroller!

Comments about Mamas and Papas Mamas & Papas Armadillo Stroller - Blue Indigo:

Normally I do not leave reviews but as an architect with an eye for excellent product design and a busy mother of two boys I must recommend the Armadillo. It is the first time I have been excited by a push chair.
First, the one hand fold is as easy as the promo videos show and it makes the stroller incredibly convenient. I can get the stroller out of my car and unfold it with my baby on my hip. As I travel a lot is is also very convenient that you can simply pick up the Armadillo from the luggage carousel and unfold it without having to put your baby on the airport floor (have done that when I travelled with a buggy that you need two hands to unfold!)
The Armadillo is quite spacious, my 20 kg 3year old can have a comfortable nap in it, but usually I use it for my 10 month old. With two children I found that my previous second stage stroller was a hassle as the the umbrella fold mechanism made it impossible to steer with one hand. As the Armadillo folds forward, not like an umbrella, it can easily be manoeuvred with one hand and leaves one hand free for another child, a coffee, an umbrella etc.
The hood is very big so if it is only a light drizzle you don't have to bother with the rain cover, and the basket underneath is spacious as well. As it folds over so easily and stands up when folded it is very easy to store and currently stands on our landing, not annoying the neighbours by taking up space in the hallway. If you are looking for a second stage stroller that will last you a long time, look no further.
