The Move and Crawl Ball is a colorful playmate that keeps baby on the move and teaches with lessons that mom will love! My daughter received this toy when she was six months old and she didn't really play with it. It wasn't until she was eight months old, when she started sitting up on her own that she started really enjoying it. Eventually, when it would roll away from her, she would reach for it and she began crawling towards it. I was concerned about the weight but she picks it up fine!

I thought my son would love this. I bought it when he was 7 months old. The ball confused him. It was hard for him to see where the buttons were. It just played one song over and over because he didn't roll it enough. I know it is award winning but I guess not with my son. It is very durable though. My son is now 19 months and he loves to pick it up and throw it across the room. And after all the abuse it still works just fine.

This is a very neat idea and I was pleased that it was easy for our 2 1/2 year old little girl to transform it. The LCD screen could be a little different, it's hard to see the character, but the toy in all is great.

My son just turned 5 and, although the toy is supposedly for ages 3-8, and he is generally very good with figuring new things out, he has a hard time with the "switching" part feature. I can't even imagine how a 3-year-old would be able to use any function beyond pushing the buttons on the head. My husband and I both have engineering degrees and we had difficulty changing from car to dino and back.

There's nothing educational about it, which is usually why we'd get vTech toys. If my son hadn't wanted it from the commercials, and we'd had another "big" present for the holidays, we'd have just gone with a regular Transformer, which is cheaper and easier to use. He gave up on it after two tries.

The only thing I do not like about this toy is what it says when in dinosaur form. I really don't feel that they are ages 3-8 appropriate:
"Cower In Fear"
"On Your Knees"
"Obey Your King"

"Santa" brought all of the dinos to my grandson for Christmas. 28 years of Santa bringing toys to my 3 children and now my 2 grandchildren, these are by FAR the best toys he has brought. You name any toy over the past 3 decades for any age child and we have bought them but nothing comes close to these. Vtech has hit a homerun with Switch-n-Go Dinos!!!

My son was excited about opening this gift, but hasn't spent much time playing with it. I got it for a great deal so it was worth the purchase for the "Wow" but we've only had it 2 months and it's already bound for the garage sale pile. It's got some neat features if your child is more into those types of toys.

My son loves playing with the Switch and Go Dinosaurs because of the dinosaur and car sound effects and the ability to change the eyes. He also loves being able to change from Dinosaur mode to car mode fairly easily.
