I really love this place mat. It's perfect for going out to eat when your little one is too young for his/her own meal but wants a bite of everyone else's. It's a good size and the tray catches spills. The suction cups really stick well to the table and it folds up and stores well. My only complaint is that the material stains. Ours has a lot of little spots on it from pizza pieces and the like, making it look dirty even when it's clean.

Nice except it doesnt lay flat very well like the picture and the suction cups dont stick very well but nice to have something to put food on

This product was an impulse buy from babies r us (which I rarely do) and I am really glad I did. The day that I bought it we had a family dinner at a japanese steakhouse and I was able to test this thing for the first time! First of all, it has a wide eating area so he is able to scatter his food and still keep it on the mat. Second, the suction cups were super strong! Third, it was really easy to wipe down with the restaurants napkin. Fourth, it rolls up so tiny so it does not take up much room in the diaper bag. Only two MINOR flaws, first, it is silicone (or rubber, im not really sure) anyways, its not slippery, so it does take on fuzz and lint from the diaper bag. I think in the future I will store this in a ziploc, or maybe one of those baby cereal snack canister things. Second, the scoop didnt really hang down flesh with the side of the table, so it was kind of sticking out, which is fine, it kind of became a feeding trough for my 9 mo old. :) All in all, the downsides are super super minor and this thing is definitely a great product to keep your baby from eating germs off the table!

This little placemat is great for eating out - we always bring it with us to restaurants for our toddler.

We love these mats and have three of them we use in rotation at home, plus one more for backup. Our 18 month old sits in a booster chair and is super messy, whether he eats with his fingers or is trying to use a fork or spoon, and the little scoop catches the majority of what he drops. He ends up eating from the scoop and other areas on the mat where he has spilled. We also try to bring one along in the diaper bag for eating out, so we don't have to worry about how clean the table is. One mat is stained from tomato sauce, but it doesn't bother me, especially since I knew it would happen.

An added bonus - the mats are decorated with the Hey Diddle Diddle nursery rhyme, so we point to the pictures and recite the poem as part of the mealtime routine.

Washing is a bit of a pain because they are floppy - keep a few on hand so they're always available.

We saw this product being used at a hotel in Nashville. I have a cousin in Italy expecting and I knew this would be something they would not h ave over there. I received it in a box that explains in pictures its uses which I found convenient for my purpose. Would recommend this to any new parent. Wish I had seen this when my grandchildren were at that age.

I am a server and I had a Mom and 11 month old baby girl come in today and they had this place mat. It was awesome, it helped keep everything nice and neat and clean which is always a plus! :)
