We got this game for my 3 year old daughter who loves Daniel Tigers Neighborhood and she LOVES this game. It is simple enough for a 3 year old and just enough going on to keep me from getting really bored. I love that it really teaches you to share and just have fun playing a game and it's not about who wins or loses. Because if you get a person that is already on your trolley you have to share with someone who doesn't have one. It's really cute and if your kid likes to act things out they will love this!

This is a charade based game, which is great, but very difficult for my son. Game play is easy, you spin to move, land on a colored space and pick either an action card or an emotion card. For the action cards the player is supposed to recreate the action shown on the card using movements (no words) and the other players are to guess; for the emotion cards the player acts out (instructions do not specify with/without words) the feelings shown on the card. This was tricky for us as adults in some cases, and very frustrating for our 4yo boy. So we have modified it to describe what the cards are showing instead of act it out. And this has made the game enjoyable for us all!! Good learning game for describing what is seen in a picture, and eventually for acting out what is seen. It will grow with any child.

We used this game for our family game night with our 3 and 5 yr olds. No reading is required and you learn how to both notice and express feelings. It even encourages helping others collect what they need instead of solely on being the winner. Glad we purchased this.

I read some of the reviews of this game and wasn't impressed. HOWEVER my daughter loves Daniel Tiger so purchased it anyways. SHE LOVES IT! I honestly think it depends on character of your child and if you think they will enjoy it. Plus you don't have to exactly play by the rules, just make it fun for them and they WILL LOVE IT! (My child's favorite game now).

My daughter is 3.5 and loves Daniel Tigers neighborhood. The game is fun but the two different card sets make the game a little confusing for her age. Some of the pictures are tough to act out too. Overall it was fun for my 3.5 and 6 year old.

Comments about Universal Games 1002394 Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Game:

This game is good, but the kids prefer the Candyland Train game, which would be neat to see themed as Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. It's got a train that looks a lot like the trolly going around to four different stations trying to match colors. My kids are still quite young, and the Candyland game seems more suited to their age level. This Daniel Tiger game is one they'll need to grow into over the next couple of years.

My kids love Daniel Tiger's neighborhood so be thought this game would be great but in fact it wasn't. The games purpose is to spin the wheel and pick up friends at their houses. Once a player lands on a specific card (the actual houses of the characters) the player is asked to imitate or act out what the card is showing them. If a player lands on a card that is not a house card then they are asked how they would feel when they see what is shown on the card. Not really much to it at all and my kids were bored almost right away.

We bought this game for use as part of our son's ABA therapy program. We've modified the rules slightly to compensate for his needs. Overall, the game is wonderful. Engaging design, comforting colors, and easy to follow. Acting out or interpreting the imagination and feeling cards may be difficult for younger players, but otherwise, the game is well-suited for children.
