Works great! Its the only formula I can give him that he can keep down to supplement breast feeding. Tried many brands and types, but this one, the one he got when delivered at the hospital, is the only one that doesnt make him sick, and lets him sleep 6 hours a night!

I started out using similac formula but my son didn't tolerate it well. I switched to Enfamil Lipil and have had no problems. My only complaint is that it does get foamy when you first shake it up in the bottle, however, the foam goes way after a few minutes. My solution is to just make bottles ahead of time and let them sit in the fridge.

This formula is not the best for babies with tummy troubles. This is what the hospital gave our baby when she was born. So, we assumed it was probably the best out there. But it caused my baby to have gas and serious constipation. So, we switched to Enfamil Gentlease, and it truly helped my baby get over her tummy troubles. There's also less foam! :)

I started giving my son Similac Advance with the early shield, and boy it was great! then i started giving him enfamil lipil because thats what they gave me at my wic office and my son struggled! it gave him major CONSTIPATION, gas, and COLIC. He has been using this brand for almost two weeks and his symptoms have slowly gone away but i guess he is getting used to the switch in formulas. My doctor says that they are all the same thing so I guess we will continue on this.

Every child is different, so I'm sure they all react differently to this formula. This is the product the hospital used and trusted, so this is what we started with. At first I wasn't sure if it was my breastmilk or the formula causing the trouble (we had to do both because he was SO HUNGRY all of the time!!!)...but he became increasingly miserable on this product with no relief even with mylicon...we switched to Enfamil Gentlease and he did fabulous!
