My wife and I decided to go with a jogging stroller for our newborn over a regular. We purchased the Graco Fast Action and noticed it was pretty bumpy and had a bulky feel. About a week later, we went back to the BabiesRUs to look at the BOB Revolution and make a switch. We were very surprised to see the arrival of the Graco Relay and tested it out. After thinking it over for a week, we decided to go with the Graco Relay. Mainly this was because we knew we could buy it without having to purchase extra attachments needed for our car seat and it was cheaper while feeling just as smooth in the ride and maneuverable.
Now, compared to the FastAction, the Relay is way better. It looks better, feels better, and it has shocks. One of the main differences is that the handle bar doesn't have a tray which is traded off with a hanging pouch system. We didn't care much for it and added our own. FastAction certainly had more space in the storage, but it can still hold an average sized diaper bag. Relay sits lower than the FastAction also. The sun shade also comes down lower. The Relay has one central brake, where as on the FastAction one would have to lock each wheel. Both wheels on the relay come off easy, however, unlike the FastAction, the front wheel on the Relay takes a little bit more effort to come off. The relay is slightly more compact though. I would have liked to see the arm that helps the Fast Action stand up when folded on the relay but we are able to live without it, just doesn't store super well in the house.
Overall, we like this stroller and recommend it. Hopefully more variety of colors come out. BOB still makes nice strollers but the Relay definitely creates some competition.

This is an update to a previous review. I've owned this stroller for a month now, it hasn't gotten a ton of use because I'm in Massachusetts and its still warming up here. Today I took the stroller out to see if my toddler "Bundle me" will fit and I noticed something strange... From being collapsed and stored in my car, the entire backrest of the stroller has bowed. Its almost like a U shape now instead of being just flat. I realized this happened because of how the stroller collapses into itself when folded. When I pushed on it to straighten it back out it just buckles in in the middle of the backrest. I feel like the material behind the padding must be very cheap to do this.

Maybe this is by design so the stroller can fold like it does, but I feel like for 350 bucks I shouldn't have a misshapen backrest. I'm going to call Graco, but this is making me want to return the stroller and get a Chicco Activ3 instead. Chicco has phenomenal customer service, not sure about Graco, I guess I will find out.

This stroller doesn't have a standing fold, so it has to be stored this way and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this problem.

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

After researching for months and reading reviews about jogging strollers, I finally bit the bullet and made a decision. I was going to buy another brand once I went into Babies R Us. I left out with the Relay on Monday and I am happy I did. The decision came down to buying accessories ala carte. The belly bar is essential for my 7 month old and this stroller comes with it. I believe we will be happy for quite awhile with our Relay.

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

After researching online I went to Babies R Us to view the jogging strollers I had narrowed it down to, BOB Revolution or Chicco Activ3. I decided Chicco was out because of the foot rest being really narrow. I was ready to take a BOB. Then it was suggested by store employee to check out this new Graco model, stating that it was very similar to the BOB but included some of the extras (parent drink holder and storage, car seat adapter.) My 4 yr old tested both this and BOB for comfort and said that this one was better. She had more head room in this one and the foot rest is a little wider than BOB too. The suspension is great, easy to fold, smooth ride and saved some money compared to BOB. My intention in buying a jogger is for baby on the way. I plan to utilize this stroller for a few years. The infant car seat connects very easily and secure. Love that between the canopy on the stroller and infant seat, baby is completely protected from weather elements. My husband (mechanic, welder, knows his metals) thought this one was sturdier than BOB also. Light enough weight that at 8 mos pregnant I can easily lift it. The only thing I found that I don't like is that there isn't a strap or lock to keep stroller in folded position and the harness is a little tricky at first (or maybe I'm just out of practice!)

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

I needed a bigger stroller for my little one...she's almost 1 and 1/2 years old and slightly taller than most children her age. This stroller still has plenty of room for her to grow into. I debated over a few other brands (BOB, Baby Jogger..etc) but didn't like that we had to buy accessories separately. This stroller is very smooth and very roomy for my little one. I adore the extra large canopy. The only thing I would change is the parent tray...I wish it was an actual tray sitting on top of the handle bar versus a hanging pouch.

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

great stroller! I was between this stroller and the Chicco Activ3 but so far I'm very happy with this and I'm glad it got it over the Chicco. I've only owned it for a few days. I've mostly owned Chicco strollers so I'm still getting used to how Gracos open and close with that one hand operated handle in the middle of the stroller that you pull. I find the fold a little cumbersome but it does fold down pretty compact, especially if you remove the back tires.

I don't like the recline mechanism, I'd rather a recline that "clicks" into certain positions rather than a strap that just tightens across the backrest. If you aren't careful you can get an uneven recline but on the plus side, you have many recline options with this system.

                  Pros:
                  - seems very sturdy
                  - came pre-assembled, just popped on the wheels and canopy
                  - cushy seat for baby
                  - rear tires are easy to pop off with the push of a button
                  - fits great in my small toyota matrix hatchback
                  - harness seems comfortable for baby
                  - nice suspension
                  - huge canopy
                  - very easy to lock and unlock front wheel

                  Cons:
                  - no standing fold
                  - I don't love the recline mechanism

After researching jogging strollers for several months, I was excited when Graco came out with the Relay. I was almost decided on another brand but, didn't like that I had to buy extra pieces to go with it if I wanted a parent tray or snack tray for the baby. The Graco Relay is very comparable to the other brand I was considering but, you do not have to buy any extra pieces which was a huge plus for me. I took the Relay for a run yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the way it handles. Very easy to put together and stores very nicely in my trunk without having to remove and wheels.

I was contemplating the BOB because it was on sale for the same price this stroller was at, and all my friends that have jogging strollers have the BOB but after trying this one out in store I love it! The smoothest ride for my baby that is only a couple weeks old and doesn't wake her. And now that Minnesota has been warming up I have gotten great use out of this stroller!
                    Highly recommend!
I hope they make a tandem jogging stroller of this so I can get something similar if I have another child.

                    Strong competition to BOB.

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

Comments about Graco Relay Click Connect Performance Jogger Stroller - Panther:

I originally went into the store to buy a BOB and an infant capsule conversion bar for our 3-year-old Graco SnugRide 35 classic infant capsule but the store was out of BOB strollers. I ended up buying the Graco Relay jogger and a brand new SnugRide click connect infant capsule for the same price. I am really happy with this stroller. Even with the infant capsule it is super light and easy to maneuver. It folds down small and fits into the trunk of our compact car (the Baby Trend joggers do not fit). The suspension is great and I have found it perfect for both running and taking trips to the park. I also like that my 3 year old son can still sit on the front of this stroller (when he gets tired walking home from the park!) even with the infant capsule attached. The click connect attachment is really easy to use and much sturdier than using a BOB with the conversion bar. I especially like the press-button wheel release that lets you take the wheels off easily if you want it to fold down even smaller. There is ample storage and the cup holder and cell phone holder is really useful, as is the cup holder on the belly bar. I am so glad that I bought this stroller!
