Highly recommend the butt paste, as it works much better on diaper rash than the other product that we tried. I wish we had not bought the 16-oz. jar size, though. It is heavy enough to be a problem on our flimsy changing table shelves, and when the jar gets low it's annoying to scrape your wrist against the rim to get your fingers to the bottom of the jar. Buy this product in the tube, even if it costs a little more per ounce that way.

My baby girl developed a diaper rash even after being changed continuously. She had red bumps and even raw skin. Took her to the pediatrician. Diagnosed with CONTACT DERMITITIS caused by the pH change of her own saliva due to teething. This paste is thicker than other ones and therefore provides better protection. This presentation is good for daily use at home!

My baby didn't get her first diaper rash until she was nearly 5 months old, but when she did it was a doozy, with ulcerations and everything! No other product even began to touch it, but my pediatrician reccomended this product and it cleared her right up. Since then I've kept this in stock and next to the wipes at all times. It looks like clay and smells like sulfur, but I'm not buying a product to slather on my child's behind based on superficial things like that. All I care about is that it works.

I had high hopes for this because I've heard so much about it but I keep going back to Desitin. This gets gummy and waxy feeling at next diaper change. Which is kind of counter active to a healing dipaer rash because you have to wipe harder to clean their bottom. It works ok for mild dipaer rash but not for anything beyond that.

Our newborn got a bad diaper rash when we switched from the hospital dry wipes to pampers wipes. Poor guy was super irritated and really red. We used the but paste and noticed an immediate difference after 2 or 3 diaper changes and after 2 days the rash was pretty much gone. It went on easy and didnt get runny. He seems to like it too! Would recommend. We also have the smaller size for our diaper bag when we're on the go.

This is by far the best product for diaper rashes. Each time my daughter tries a different food, she tends to get a diaper rash. I even keep a tub at the daycare.

Our son had quite a bad diaper rash, and for what seems like months we used butt paste exclusively since we were told this is the best out there and the pediatrician recommended it. It had no effect on his rash at all. Eventually we switched to Desitin and the rash cleared up almost immediately (and wasn't so stinky). I would never discount the high opinions people have of butt paste simply because it was not my experience, but just wanted to tell people out there that the success of any diaper rash cream is dependent on the child, the type of rash, or some other unknown factor. Definitely give this a try, since so many people can't be wrong. But given its cost, I would suggest starting out with a smaller package to see if it works first.

Great Product, I've been using it for the last 4 years with my kids and it works great, don't buy another brand, I know it's a little bit more expensive than similar products but your kids "BUTT" will really appreciate you bought this cream.

Yes, it is amazing for diaper rash, but it also works miracles on the neck rash that 4mo. olds get from all the slobber and skin break down, it sticks pretty well and is an awesome barrier. We also use Bag Balm for diaper rash and within an hour or two the rash is almost gone.
