    I did some research about the ingredients in this product, especially the different forms of "alcohol" and found out that simply because a product says "alcohol" doesn't mean that it behaves the same way that say rubbing alcohol does. From what I can understand, its similar to how gasoline and motor oil are different from one another: one is for burning, and the other actually lubricates the engine. I have been using this product on my own very sensitive skin, as well as the skin of the children I sit for for years, and I have never been disappointed. I have noticed with all newborns that lotion will cause their skin, which has been immersed in amniotic fluid for approx 9-10 months to peel or sometimes flake, regardless of the ingredients. Out of guilt, I tried California Baby products for about a month (the price demanded that I give them a chance!) and was incredibly disappointed. They made the babies smell dirty and I couldn't rationalize spending that much on products that had gained notoriety simply because of sensationalist media. Johnson and Johnson may not be the hippest product, riding the organic bandwagon, but for a mommy/sitter who works on a budget and expects children to actually smell clean, it does the job.

    I always thought this was supposed to be the best stuff, but when I used it on my daughter her skin became extremely dry and she broke out in a rash everywhere I put it. It made her skin so red it gave her eczema. My pediatrician recommended I switch to something without so much alcohol. I would not recommend this lotion.

      I usually tend to use different brands of lotions. Just wanted to try all of them so ill know the good and bad brands are. I even use whitening lotions etc. but now since im pregnant, no whitening lotions for now. I used different brands of moisturizing lotions in the market. But johnsons baby lotion gave me an incredible moisturized effect from the first use! How good is that! Plus the scent is so good. I really love the scent. Using johnson baby lotions makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. I just love touchin my skin after putting the lotion lol. I gave 4 stars cuz when i was younger i used johnsons ever since and until now the pachaging is still the same. Id like to suggest a different packaging. Like the opening of the bottle would be on the bottom part. So the lotion will settle in it when youre not using it. So if youll use it again you dont have to turn the bottle upside down.

      I went to a massage therapist she wanted to know how I kept my skin so soft, I said it was a secret, just kidding her. I told her I had been using J&J products for over 40 years, she was shocked! She said when she got of work she was going to buy some. I use lotion in summer & baby cream in winter. I also use many other J&J products as well. I LOVE THIS CO. & IT'S PRODUCTS! I recommend lotion,powder.baby creams,shampoo,baby wash ect. I smell good and so do my grandbabies. There is nothing better than a baby that smells good.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Best cleansing milk.

      I don't know if this is a moisturizing lotion, but I use it as a cleansing milk since I remember myself and now I am 31 and have a 20 year old skin. It removes all traces of everything makeup,dirt plus it leaves skin extremely moisturized. I have sensitive but oily skin and this does!I use it in my niece also to put off the sunscreen which comes off dificulty with soaps or any other cleansers.Star product that hope to be produced forever,along with the cream. And don't even consider change the fragance which is amazing please!

      I have extremely sensitive combination skin and have to be very careful what I use, especially on my face. After trial and error with many different products, I have never ever had any problems with this one. After I bathe, I use it as my everyday moisturizer on my face and body. I've never had any issues whatsoever and have flawless skin that everyone comments on. I will never switch to anything else and plan to use it on my babies since we're currently trying. Wish us luck! =)

      I have always loved J&J baby lotion as long as I can remember, Through the years I have used it and always look for the mini bottle to keep in my purse when I want that baby fresh scent only Johnson can do. I love the classic baby powder also.

      Ah. I love Johnson's baby lotion! It is perfection. Moisturizing but never greasy. Soft and lovely scent. Great texture. Love the pink tint and the iconic pink bottle. For as long as J&J makes this I will always buy it. Note to J&J: Please never change this product or any of the others in the classic line. The people that are complaining about the ingredients can always buy the natural line if that's what they're looking for. You shouldn't change the classics. They have remained popular for a reason, because they work and are gentle.
