The Graco SnugRide Adjustable Car Seat Base in Silver is the convenient second adjustable car seat base to compliment to your SnugRide 22 infant car seat. It will simplify your life and make moving your baby from one car to another easier. You can install one base in each car and then move the SnugRide car seat between vehicles with ease. This base adjusts to help get the proper recline for your Graco SnugRide infant car seat and is LATCH-equipped for easy installation. The metal and plastic components may be cleaned with mild soap and water. Then use a towel or dry cloth to wipe dry. The SnugRide 22 infant car seat and base are to be used rear-facing only and are intended for infants from 5 to 22 lbs. Note: if you are shipping this item to Connecticut, sales tax on the related shipping and handling charges will be refunded to your credit card.

Registered for this to go with Metrolite Travel System as a separate base for the second car. Just as a warning - It doesn't fit with this travel system. The car seat with the MetroLite is SnugRide 32, and even though this one is also a SnugRide, it isn't the right one. Graco actually makes a SnugRide 32 base. Guess I should have looked into a little further before adding it to the registry, but it would be helpful if the manufacturer would list the compatible seats somewhere on the packaging.

The car seat base was as described in the product page, and fit the SnugRide car seat that the mother had. Unfortunately, she didn't get a chance to use the base and had to return it, as the seat itself turned out to be expired.

When we registered for another SnugRide base, we weren't aware there are "newer" models out there, so folks purchased us the wrong base. This SnugRide only works with other SnugRide car seats (not the SnugRide30 and whatever else is out there). This model IS NOT compatible with the new "universal" SnugRide either. If you have this model, make sure you buy the same "old style" SnugRide car seats and other accessories.

We originally registered for a different car seat base to go with our Graco Flip-It stroller/car seat system because the website told us a different base (Snugride 36). When we received it at one of our showers, I was very excited, but soon realized it didn't come close to fitting with our car seat. We were able to exchange it for this base, which is the exact same as the base included in the travel system. It is wonderful having this extra one for my husband's car!

We purchased this Graco Snugride Adjustable Car Seat base for our 2nd car. It sucks. The base doesn't fit the Graco Snugride 30 infant car seat. We tried for about 20 minutes to get the carseat to snap into the base, but no such luck. Graco should make a universal product that is a real universal product. We will be returning the adjustable care seat base to try the Graco Snugride base 30/35, hopefully we will have better luck.
