I bought this for my new grand-daughter and she sleeps very well with it. When she moves or makes a sound, it starts back up again and she goes off to sleep and wakes only when hungry...for now.

The womb sounds are perfect to soothe babies, and it's motion activated too !! The bear doesn't attach to our crib so it's pretty useless unless she wants to snuggle with it when she gets bigger, so I wish they sold the sound box by itself. Still a great buy.

I got this because I thought it would help sleep train my new daughter. I put her in the bassinet, turn on the bear and the womb noises start. Five minutes later the noises stop automatically, even if you want them to keep going. The bear is supposed to turn itself back on when the baby fusses or moves, unfortunately my bear doesn't do this. My daughter could start screaming an that ting would stay off, in order for me to get the noise to start again I have to hit it with my own hand with some force. It makes it completely pointless for sleep training or drowning out household noise or soothing a crying baby if it just turns off after 5 minutes an I have to get up and hit it to start it up again. Also, the battery pack and on/off switch are in a weird spot and not easily accessible. I would not buy it again.

I had trouble getting my son to sleep through the night. He's a restless sleeper. I like the slumber bear because the heartbeat sound it makes is very realistic and soothing, unlike other sleep aids, which to me sound more like pulsating white noise. I also REALLY like that this little bear starts beating when there's movement or a loud noise in the room--I don't have to walk in and push a button. Hello!! My only two complaints are: 1. the sound only stays on for a few minutes, and 2. the battery life is pretty puny. But overall very helpful sound machine, and I will be buying another one for my daughter, who is due in June.

I wish I had this for my first child. My 9 week old is sleeping so much better at night since getting this bear. She even slept 10 hours straight last night! It's great for soothing her back to sleep when she isn't really hungry. I would recommend this to every new parent!

This was by far THE BEST gift I got at my baby shower. Our daughter arrived 7wks early, and from the time she came home, we have relied on this to help put her to sleep, as well as keep her asleep. It worked so well, we went out and bought another so we have 1 in her bed and another in her pack-n-play downstairs. The greatest thing about it is that it is both motion AND sound activated, so when baby moves or makes noise, it goes off. Our daughter is now 7mos, and has been sleeping through the night since she was almost 3mos thanks to Slumber Bear. I recommend this to anyone with a newborn!

I LOVE THIS BEAR! my son would not sleep well unless this was on. And whenever it would shut off, if he moved his hand up, and swat at it, it would turn right back on! LIFE SAVER!!! LOVE THIS ITEM!!

I had this bear bought when I read the description on the box about the bear, it sounded cute, first week my daughter came home, the sound had calmed her down, even if she cries the bear will turn on and will calm her down again she falls asleep will easily with the bear as well. Only down side is how the bear shuts off too soon and batteries wear out to fast, other than that it is an awesome teddy bear for your infant !

We first used this product in the hospital. It was great because her cries turned it on..even if she wasn't in the bassinet. The sound is so realistic that the nurses were confused trying to find the womb monitor (and more confused because I was in a postpartum room ;) ) Nothing, not bouncing or swaddling, soothed our daughter like this bear. It really helped her transition from womb to world. She is now 2 months old and still relaxes instantly at the sound of her bear. Not only do I recommend this product, but I am sending one to all the pregnant mommies I know as gifts!
