I LOVE this thing! We were having a hard time getting our little pumpkin to fall asleep, and this thing was a life saver! We use the ocean sounds, and it really does help her fall asleep.

My only complaint is that I have to turn the volume all the way up just to get it to be what I think is a "normal" volume. Of all the complaints to have, that one is pretty minor.

I bought this for my mom to use while watching my daughter when I returned to work. I have a different "white noise" machine that I use at home, and I wanted my mom to have a similar routine at her house. The different "while noise" machine I use at home turns up nice and loud (safely loud though, nothing that would hurt my daughters ears). This sound sleeper I got for my mom I wish turned up a bit louder.

My son kept waking up with another sound machine (battery operated) that I was using, and I finally figured out that he was waking up every time the machine shut off after its 15 minute limit. So I purchased this one and, since it has a plug, you can set it endlessly and he sleeps soundly now! I love all the sound choices that this one has too, although the womb sounds work perfectly for us. Its simple and works well!

I used this with my daughter for naps and at night, mainly to filter out noise from the rest of the house. It did a great job - rarely some interference (minimal issue). After 2 years it stopped working and I called Dex because the box said "lifetime guarantee" and all they needed was a picture of the item, attached to an email explaining that it stopped workig, and they sent me a new one...that's it...no searching for the receipt (or original box for that matter - who keeps those?!). Overall in my top 5 must-haves for a newborn.

Our baby loves the "womb" sound. She has been quite fussy at night, so this helps....at least for a little while.

This sound machine works great. It blocks out all the noise around the house so my son can sleep sound.

The box says it "Soothes crying babies to sleep-Guaranteed" but that wasn't true with our infant son. However, we have noticed he is more calm and soothes easier when we have this on. In fact he seems to prefer the Sound Sleeper over his crib soother.

This is a great sound machine. I like that it plugs in to the wall. Sounds are like normal soother sounds- we like the ocean and rain. The volume is adjustable and has good sound levels. There is the option to keep it on all night or just for a short time and it will auto off. It is small enough to sit on side table in a nursery too.
I don't have any complaints.

My daughter went from sleeping 2 hours to 4 or 5 hours of sleeping the first night we used this. LOVE IT!
