I was very excited about this hamper set, as I love the wicker look and the white would match my decor. Upon arrival, immediatly disappointed. First, they smell really bad (hope that fades), second, the quality is just not what you would expect for the cost. The wicker is already broken and worn on the bottoms and splintering, and the wicker has been spraypainted it seems, but they missed spots. The spots under the lid are not white, but show the natural colored wicker below. I will be returning for a hamper from [...].

I have these, as well as the coordinating three-basket set, and am happy with them. I dislike the looks of the canvas folding hampers that are so popular for baby rooms, and they seem to me like the lid would forever be flopped open, and looking a mess, so I didn't want one of those. The other hampers that are popular, especially at the higher end baby stores, have removable, unattached lids. (Yeah, right, like you or the kid is going to put the lid back on every time.) This was the only wicker/wood hamper suitable for a nursery that I found with an attached lid for a reasonable price. I'm quite happy with it, because (1) it's pretty good quality; (2) it coordinates with the 3 basket set, as well as the Sabrina baskets in white available at an upper end store; (3) the liner washes nicely (I did not put it in the dryer, though-- it dried overnight); and (4) I love having the additional small hamper. We put the smaller hamper to use in the guest bathroom, where baby's bath will be. It is the perfect size for her little hooded towels and washcloths and so forth.

Product is cheap and poorly made. I registered this item on my registry and because it is only available online, i was unable to return it to the store. Extremely disappointed. Not worth the money.
