Slots on the sides make it easy to carry the hampers to the laundry room. Attached lid flips open for loading and unloading and won't get lost. Fully assembled.

This is a good concept but the hampers are poor quality and not durable; within a month the liners ripped, after three months one of the lids came detached, and within nine months the wicker is coming apart. I contacted the company to inquire about a refund or exchange and they would not do either. The products' deterioration is not a result of heavy use as I have a small, young household.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The set looks exactly how I expected when I ordered it. It arrived in good condition and looks nice in my nursery. We're using the large one as a hamper and the smaller one as a trash bin for non-food, non-stinky items. We needed something with a lid so that it would hopefully keep our dog out. It may be tall enough for the job, but is probably too light to keep him from knocking it over. I guess we'll just have to be good pet owners and keep an eye on him. ;) As for the baskets, nice product! The price is comparable to other sources, but I withheld the fifth star because it still seems a little too much to pay for what you get - they could at least use heavier materials. We'll see how their longevity holds up.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

[...]The liner bags are removable for washing. I got these for my 2 boys (4yrs & 4mths). The older needed a replacement for his folding canvas hamper he's had since birth and I needed one for our new addition. The boys share a bathroom and I wanted the hampers to both fit in the small closet in their bathroom. There is just enough room for them both. I'm so pleased. Each basket is large enough to hold about a week's worth of laundry for each boy, given the difference in size of clothes. I'll have to upgrade to something larger when the boys are older, but for now they are just perfect!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
