I use the product to keep my infant next to me in my recliner and bed.

Better hight (not so deep) than Pack n' Play for infants, so you can interact with them without reaching down so much.

Hard for people with disabilities to reach for child from a seated position due to high side rail...same problem if you have a low bed.

This cosleeper is great! It has storage for diapers/wipes, for those middle of the night changes. It will be so convenient for breastfeeding, to have the baby right next to us.

I would recommend this cosleeper to anyone expecting a baby, especially those that plan on breastfeeding.

I love this thing...i wish i would have splurged and gone with the fancy one or the bigger one. Very handy for late night feedings if you're nursing. My ladybug sleeps in it all night with a wedge.

Perfect for a bassinet. Can see through on at least one side. Can hold babies up to 22 lbs, not like most bassinets, so you get monies worth! Compact. Lightweight. Easy to assemble, storage below. Only negatives are buying the sheets for it (need to go through the manufacturers website) and a firm mattress....which newborns need.

This is absolutely the best thing we have gotten for our son! We did not get one until he was almost 2 months old but should have gotten it sooner than that because he loves to sleep in it. He is right next to me (at eye level). It is great for nursing or just to be able to put your hand over to comfort him in the night. He is 7 months old and almost 19 lbs but still loves to sleep in it. If your husband says "We probably wont need that,"- DONT LISTEN! LOL

The Arm's Reach co-sleeper helped me keep my baby right next to me all night long, without putting directly in our bed when he was really young. It was so much easier to just roll over to pick him up when he was hungry (or just to look at him!) rather than get up and walk across the room. Definitely contributed to better sleep those first months. We had no problems attaching to our bed. The only caveat is you may want to purchase the regular size rather than the mini if you plan to keep your infant in it for an extended time. My baby is very tall for his age and was too long for this co-sleeper after about 3 months, which wasn't long enough for me. I don't feel too badly because it's already on its 3rd life with another mama friend, but would have liked to use it longer myself.

This was the only bassinet that would fit in the space we have, and it was also suggested by a friend. It's secure, sturdy and well-designed, but our 1-month-old has never really slept in it. We'd put her in it in the first couple weeks, and she'd wake up shortly after. We think the mattress may be too hard, making her uncomfortable, since we also have a crib that she's slept in for hours at a time. Now she sleeps on mom's chest, with the co-sleeper by the bed to help keep mom in place. We also throw burp cloths, blankets, etc. on it to have handy. We'll probably be able to use it as a toy box or something when she's older.

Basically, this product didn't work for us, b/c it doesn't work w/ our bed. First, our bed is too high - it's 30" (we even bought the leg extensions that are supposed to raise it to 30" and it still didn't work). Second, we have thick, wooden bed rails, which means the product does not sit close to the mattress - we had a gap of about 8-10" between the mattress and the co-sleeper. It just didn't seem safe.

Also, the leg extensions made the co-sleeper seem a bit flimsy.

This product would be good if you have a lower mattress, and if you don't have wooden bedrails (or if the bedrails are flush w/ your mattress).

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for her first baby. He is a preemie so she wants him close by all the time. He sleeps well in it and she loves having it! Cradle sheets fit it really well and are available in any store. It needs to be available in stores though [...]
