Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper - Tan Dot:

A friend of mine recommended this to me when we were talking about the registry. She knew that I was planning on breastfeeding and said it was better to have my daughter close by, especially in the first 2 months. I was so happy to have this at home. My daughter slept right beside me and my husband, and I could attend to her whenever I needed to without getting out of bed. I put my daughter to sleep in her own room at about 6 months, and it was an easy transition. She was getting too long to sleep in it, and I knew she would need more space. I highly recommend this for breastfeeding moms or moms who want to be closer to their child without putting them in their own room. Just remember that you need to have the extra space on your bedside. It's a great buy and you won't regret it!

Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper - Tan Dot:

I had 2 C-sections 14 months apart and this was the best product ever!I actually bought the old baby blue pattern since it matched my bedroom decor better. My second daughter required a feeding tube and had Horrible reflux, and this enabled her to be right next to us. I didn't need to worry about her feeding pump or her yanking her tube out and choking during the night. We used a sleep positioner which provided padding. It was easy for me to prop books under the front of the mattress to prop her head up. She had surgery @ 6 months and I slept so much better having her beside me. We used it until she was 9 months old with no problems. I do recommend buying a bunch of extra sheets and washing them a lot before use. The only thing I didn't like was the sheets weren't very soft, they were thin, and the velcro stuck to everything in the wash including the sheet. Do not put the sheets in the dryer or they will never fit again. I too had trouble with a few of the latches but what baby product doesn't give us trouble.I do wish the fabric on the sleeper came off to wash it. But this was a great product that lasted through 2 kids and I still have it to pass on to my friend when she has a baby.

Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper - Tan Dot:

I love that the cosleeper is right next to me as I sleep, it was draining having to walk across the room 2-5 times every night in order to feed my little girl (not to mention I wake up and check on her more often than that). Now I'm able to get more sleep, and having her at arms length makes nursing much easier.

As a first time Mom I can't imagine sleeping without being able to see and touch my son at all times. This product allows me to do just that. My only issue is the fact that you have to buy leg extensions separately.

Easy set up, convenient. I love it. Haven't used it yet (not due until April 12), but we've set it up to check it out and it's great. We have to use the leg extensions as our bed is higher than normal, and it's perfect. Can't wait to reach over and play with / touch my baby in it!!!

I adore this cosleeper. My husband and I aren't in total agreement on the cosleeping issue, so this is a great compromise. We sleep well knowing that the baby is close but still safe and contained. It doesn't take up too much space in our bedroom and it's very sturdy and was easy to set up. It's so nice to be able to not have to get out of bed when my baby wakes up in the night.

Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper - Tan Dot:

We have a mini convertible in a different color, and it is awesome! I reccommend finding the convertible model as it has a cover for the plastic corners and looks much nicer. I read some reviews saying it was hard to assemble, but my husband got it together in 5 minutes. My son is 4 months old, hasn't grown out of it yet, and it has been so awesome having him inches away from me when we sleep. His mattress is about 3 inches lower than ours, and it is not at all hard getting him in and out. We have not used it as a play yard yet so I'm not sure how heavy it is, but used as a bassinett it cannot be beat!

My son was born a premie with bad acid reflux. I was unable to put him in his crib. For the first 2 weeks, I had sleepless nights (literally) until I found this sleeper. I was able to see him as if he were right next to me. If I had to recommend one item to anyone, it would be this. It is light weight and small so I was able to move it from room to room. Great product.

Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper - Tan Dot:

I ended up having a c-section but had thought that I would end up that way so I had shopped this co-sleeper. I read all of the reviews but didn't know what I wanted to do because people either love or hate this. Here is what we came up with to get around some of the issues that others have had.

    1. We have a high bed so bought the leg extentions to raise up the co-sleeper. This helped make the top of the folded down side level with our bed. That was sufficient for us.

    2. The mattress is firm so we did what others had suggested, we took a thin blanket and put it under the sheet. On top of that we put a bassinet style waterproof pad. She seems to have no issues with it. It definately made the mattress a little more comfy but remember, you want it to be firm.

    3. Some people complained about the writing being all over the co-sleeper. True, it is but when you get a style like this tan with dots, it is less visible and not such an eye sore.

    4. For those who have noted that it's hard to get in and out of the bed, here is what my husband and I did. For the first week while I was still healing from my c-section, he slept next to the co-sleeper. When our little one would cry, he'd lift her up, soothe her, change her diaper in there and put her down or hand her over to me to feed. This has worked out really well and it's allow my husband to bond with our daughter.

This has been so helpful. I'm now sleeping next to our little one and she is content inside the co-sleeper. When she fusses, I can reach over and put my hand on her head or belly and she calms down. We even attached a little mobile to the end to allow her to get some music to put her to sleep. My husband and I don't mind having her attached to our bed for the peace of mind that she is o.k. and for the added bonus that we don't have to go anywhere to change her (we just whip out a changing pad diaper and wipe from the side pockets and put it in the co-sleeper to change) nor do we have to get out of bed to feed her.

There is no perfect situation to allow your baby to sleep near you, especially when you're recovering from a c-section. Remember, you can always unattach the co-sleeper and move it to another place in your room. This has really worked for us. I don't worry about rolling over at night and crushing her but she's right next to me. A+
