The Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies and Lights Deluxe Gym is a delightful gym with music, lights, nature sounds and plenty of activities and textures to stimulate your growing baby. The activity gym’s comfy floor quilt has a soft, silky border and colorful arches supported by a friendly giraffe. A variety of links lets you attach toys up above or down below. Rainforest friends are everywhere your baby looks. There’s a soft monkey, a jingly toucan, an elephant and a parrot with a spinning paddle. Movable and stationary activity toys encourage your baby to explore the overhead gym or enjoy some tummy-time play. Your baby can also enjoy a spinner with rattling beads, spinning butterflies, a shiny mirror and a crinkly leaf for peek-a-boo fun. You can choose four fun tunes or rainforest sounds to play for your baby for up to 20 minutes.

All 3 love the Activity Mat!

As they get older (not quite 3months now), our kids love this more and more. They still can't control their hands well to swing at the items, but I'm sure it'll become even more entertaining then.

From maybe a month old (even though they were born 6 weeks early), our littlest (not in the image) loved to sit and stare at the animals and kick her legs and wave her arms.

Our son and our largest daughter used to get bored easily with this when they were young, but now that they're focusing on finer details (looking into our eyes) they absolutely LOVE this. They stare intently on one item and get so excited a swinging arm accidently hits something and they go NUTS!. (they're pictured in the image below, my son is very serious but look how happy a face he's making in the background? My daughter looks like she's giving me the evil eye in the image but she likes to talk to the animals and wave her arms and legs)

The colors are so bright, the animals precious. The glowing lights entertaining, and soothing, and I love the nature sounds best (though the babies like the stimulating though annoying music).

The only thing that would make this better is if those butterflies moved by motor like a mobile. To keep the interest of the very very youngest babies. (they just sit there but can be spun by hand).

Our cat gets a kick out of this too, and when the kids aren't using it she sleeps on it, or plays with the toys herself. I wish I could have an adult sized versions of one of these!

It has LOTS of loops (6 hanging i think, and at least 3 on the ground/mat). to hang your own toys and rotate out to keep it interesting.

Our kids liked this better than the BrightStarts Play Place.

She is grabbing and reaching for things which is great but the toys are so far apart i have to hang them off the 2 butterflys in the middle, which i think should move around or something to catch her eye!! I bought it due to the reviews which are great! But i wish i would have seen it in action first!

        Bought this playmat for my baby, it was really cute and I loved all the colors and the fact it had lights, played music and had a motion sensor option, BUT...it doesn't come with a little pad to help with tummy time and it broke after the first time I used it and replaced the batteries. The bars on it are constantly going lopsided and don't stand straight like they should...off to the store to buy a different one

            This was one of my daughter's favorites from 6 weeks until 5 months. Honestly it was the only way I was able to lay her down from 6-12weeks! So this mat was a savior! She used it after 5 months also, but she likes to stand and jump around more.

                I have had this mat for three years and both my daughter and son LOVED this mat! Super cute ad colorful. Lights and music play and just enchanted my kids. The butterflies spin if you make them, not by themselves. All the add on hanging toys that come with it are great learning tools for growing minds. I've bought this mat for every one I know that is pregnant! It's saved me on many fussy long nights! Worth the money! Batteries hardly ever need changing even when using several times a day! In 3 years I've changed batteries twice!
