We bought this for our son's 4th Birthday. After researching other ride-on's we decided this was the best 4 wheeler for our son. Has just enough speed, great breaks and very sturdy! Our son has crashed into things and even taken a few spills and both have come out unharmed. Works great in all types of weather(loves to ride through water) We keep the battery charged but a wise hint is to never leave it plug in for long periods of time. If your child is as much of a thrill seaker as our's, I would get a full face riding helmet and a chest plate!

"Santa" brought this to our 4 year old and 3 year old, note the price, their NOT cheap! The batteries only lasted about 10-15 minutes, one of them got two rides and then wouldn't even hold a charge at all and the tire went flat for no good reason, the other ones gas got stuck so when it was turned on it would just go, very dangerous for something that goes up to 10 mph for kids. The manufacturer of them did absolutely NOTHING, they didn't want to help us, wouldn't give us our money back and they wouldn't replace any of the parts free of charge. Their both still sitting in our garage not used more than 3 or four times, such a waste of money and time!

My son has used the razor about five times due to the weather here in Ohio. We had an issue with the brake sticking and shorting out power. My husband call the service number and was able to adjust the brake line and equipment. The bike is running great now.

Comments about Razor USA LLC Razor Dirt Quad:

I bought this for my 4 year old son as a Christmas present, we first had it put together at ToysRus, which for the 25 dollars is the best idea since it has a breaking system and all... We bought him a real off roading helmet which I suggest since it does go at a nice rate of speed for his age and he did see the ground twice before he got the hang of it. He took it out in the snow today and he had so much fun... I can not say a bad thing about it yet. He has the smallest hands and he can use the breaking system and all. It is perfect if you are looking for a better system then a power wheels.

Got this as a last minute gift for my son at Christmas. He loves to ride it. We even got him a helmet with a built in camera to go with it. The quad does take 12 hours to charge. Let it charge before giving as a gift.

My son will ride it all day if I let him. It is a step up from the all plastic 4 wheelers. Goes faster(but not too fast) and battery lasts a lot longer. It is the perfect transition to the gas powered 4 wheelers, he has learned to use the hand brake and throttle. Very simple assembly from the box(approx. 5 minutes), just attach handle bars. Plug in and charge battery(first charge is 12 hours), then it's good to go. Has a solid steel frame and real rubber tires!
