I bought this for my son's 4th birthday. He loves it. I love it. his older sister whos almost 5 rides on the back with him. My only comolaint is it does not have reverse, but i love it so much im getting my daughter one for her birthday as well. i would say this suits ages 4-6 depending on how tall your child is. my oldest son is 7 and tall for his age and does not fit well on it. Its worth the money!

This was actually a gift for our son. He LOVES it. It will fly and turns quick so my husband put a limiter on the handle bars to restrict it some. We got him a helmet just for extra safety. I would buy this product again for sure. Have already recommended it to family members.

Our kids received these as Christmas presents and haven't stopped riding them for the last week. A great gift. Great on roads, grass, sand and water. Easy to use and learn. Battery life is about 60 minutes of full out riding. Recharges quickly and easily. Per my kiddos, worth the wait!!

This thing is great! It is built solidly and has an all metal frame just like a real one but that does make it heavy. It was well packed and easy to assemble (they included all the tools too). In Utah riders must be 8 years old to get a blue card for gas powered quads in state parks, since this is battery powered it is considered a toy and my 4 year old can ride it in the corner park, state parks, wherever. He can learn rider safety, etiquette, care and maintenance before moving up to a gas system. It holds a charge fairly well. There is a large on-line community of people who like to tweak and modify these products if you're into that sort of thing.

If you have to take the body off (like to replace the batteries) you need to remove all the cables attached to the handlebars which is a bit of a pain, but luckily you don't need to do it often.

If I could make a few suggestions to the manufacturer they would be:
1. Add a reverse feature
2. Add aux power connections for headlight and tail/brake light
3. New/better design for removing the body.
4. 12V and/or solar charger so you can more easily take it camping.

I got this for my sons 8th Birthday. It is made very well and very sturdy, but I was very upset to see how slow this thing goes. The 10MPH scooters leave this thing in the dust. It is more fun in the snow and to play around, but not the speed it advertised. More fitting for my 4 year old and he does love it. So if you want something sturdy for a 4 to 5 year old this will work for you. 8, 9 or 10 don't waste your money.

Pros:
rubber tires (no loud or hard plastic ride)
has rear shock
24v means good speed for kids
well built
wheel bearings
real chain and sprockets
(more just cant think of at time)

Cons;
Have to take all cables including brake cable to get body off. So if you need to check a connections it takes a bit to service.

Dont understand why someone would leave a negt=itive feedback. Our girls love it, oldest was 5 and now 6 yrs old and I would think by the time she is 8, she will be outgrowing this.

Love this toy! I ride it all the time! It goes over cement , dirt, and grass. I took it out driving house to house for Halloween. My cousin (girl) wants one, and so does my brother. Best Santa gift ever!

My son is 9 and was outgrowing his Hummer and was always putting duct tape on the wheels for tracting. A sales person at Toys r Us suggested this to me and I am sooooo glad he did! It is the best thing I have ever bought!!!!! It has a steel frame, shocks, rubber tires, brakes!!!! You name it! I have never had an issue with the battery! It outlasts my daughters barbie 4 wheeler by a long shot! Now we have to buy another one for her for christmas! She is 4 and she loves driving it too, but then there is a fight. They tow wagons and all kinds of stuff with it too! LOL! I have NO complaints about this 4 wheeler and people on the streets stop and ask about it all the time! Love, love love it!!!!!!!!

My son is 4 years old and loves his Razor Quad. This quad is better than anything else in its class including gas quads because it is electric just PLUG and PLAY. This thing handles everything my 4 year old son throws at it from street, dirt, grass, and even sand thanks to the real suspention and rubber tires. We have taken it to city parks, state parks, and campgrounds and not one person has said anything negative or asked us to leave. The only thing I would like to see added is running lights (front and rear). I will be adding them myself.
