Awesome Product!

I nursed my daughter for 23 months and VERY pregnant with my 2nd...and have started leaking at 36 weeks...so it is back to nursing pads. I have a high milk volume, doubled in size with milk to a double H cup size and have found that these are THE BEST pads out there. I never leak through them, even though I lose milk/colostrum all day. They protect from staining from high fat milk (my milk always left a grease stain) as well as lanolin. I have never even tried the sticky tape because I have never had them move around...they stay put inside my nursing bras and tanks without a problem. Never had an irritation issue either, but I use lanolin regularly while nursing as suggested by most lactation specialists (lanolin keeps nipples in great shape, which is obviously crucial to optimal nursing. Great product...won't even try another. This is what the hospital sent me home with, I tried imitation brands at first, but there is no replacing the best.

Shockingly poor quality considering how outstanding Medela's breast pumps are.

1) The adhesive doesn't stick well to any of my bras to stay in place... the pad moves when I move.

2) The adhesive sticks to other parts of the pad very well though, so I end up shredding the pad when I fold my nursing bra down to feed my 2 month old.

3) The skin facing wick-away "barrier" is anything but... my breast is clammy and wet when I switch pads even when I don't leak.

4) I can't go more than 4 hours without leaking through the pads to my clothes -- and certainly not over night.

Interestingly enough, the competitor brand (purple box, begins with the letter "L") has none of the above problems, and costs the same amount... it's a no brainer for me.

These are simply "okay" and serve their purpose. I kept them as backups in my diaper bag and stashed them throughout my house, but they always felt rough because I was already sensitive and were too thin. I would recommend the washable Bamboobies that Babies R Us sells instead, they were thicker, softer and could easily be washed.

These kept leaks from showing through my shirt, but they were uncomfortable. You could always see that I had something stuffed in my shirt, and it was pretty embarrassing. They're also individually wrapped, making a TON of waste. I only used less than half the box before switching to reusable cotton ones.

These pads were a huge disappointment. They only have one adhesive strip, and it's not very sticky, so the pads do not stay in place inside your bra.

How you use the product: I use the pads on a daily basis because my breasts tend to leak since I exclusively breast feed my 5month old.
Things that are great about it: they're disposable so when they feel full I just throw them out. They are practically invisible if I wear them under a tank top and keep my bras free of milk stains.
Things that aren't so great about it: they could use a little more adhesive.
