I will admit that the size of the sheetsaver was a bit smaller than I had originally thought, but it still comes in handy. The picture made me think that it runs lenth-wise in the crib, from top to bottom. However,it really ties between the back and the front, if that makes sense. I placed mine beneath my daughter's head so that if she spit up or drooled it wouldn't require changing the entire sheet (which is a real pain). The material is also super soft, and has stayed that way after quite a few washings. As far as the product not being waterproof, I have not had a problem with it leaking through.

The picture is misleading b/c it only goes across the crib the short-way rather than end to end. I have a sleigh crib and was disappointed to find that I cannot use this product b/c it won't tie on in the right places. it is SO soft though that I am thinking of sewing them together so I can use them... Very disappointed in the size given that a baby needs protecting under the head and the butt... Wish they'd make a bigger size so I wouldn't have to do my own sewing!

The product is great. I keep on in her bassinet and one in her crib over the sheets so if she wets the bed I do not have to change all the sheets and mattress pad. If the baby spits up she spits up on the pad. It just saves a lot of time.

Great quality pad to protect sheets/mattress from blowouts, leaks, etc. Soft material, washes well. It is a little smaller than I expected but it's sufficient. Size-wise, it actually works pretty well on a standard changing pad too. I got two to rotate between.

I purchased several of these thinking it would really save me time and another laundry load. It didn't! The product covers too small of an area for a baby who moves in his sleep. It would be a perfect product for any baby who sleeps in one spot the entire night --- fat chance of finding one of those! Nice idea, but in reality, it doesn't do what is describes: it doesn't save any sheets.

I use this for under my little boy's bottom...it is sooooo much easier to change the sheet saver when he wets thru his clothes in the middle of the night than trying to change the sheet in his crib!

Baby girl is not here yet but I just washed most of her essential items. And this turned out great! It washed really well even after drying. I can't wait to use this for my baby because it's so soft too. I would recommend this.

To address some comments made by others first - I believe that the intention of a sheet saver is to put it ontop of the sheet under the baby's head to catch spit up, so that you don't have to change the sheets constantly, just the sheet saver. So, the size is appropriate, I don't think it was meant to cover the entire baby's body as some complain about.

That said - my son spits up A TON so these are great, BUT he actually spits up so much that it soaks right through the sheet saver to the sheets anyway many times! But it at least is not as bad as if there were no sheet saver. And it helps if under the sheet saver I also put another pad or big/thick burp cloth.

It is still a pain having to constantly change the sheet saver, especially tying and untying the strings, but its not as bad as changing the sheets constantly.

I just set up the bed for my little girl that will be born next month. Usually sheet saver type products are even smaller than this, so I don't see the reason for complaints. It is extremely soft so baby will be comfortable and b/c it ties it will stay put in the bed. I guess I never had problems with my son spitting up in bed b/c I BF, so I thought to only use it for the "bottom half" but if you need to cover both "exits" you should get 2 of them. Totally worth it... great price... great quality and again.. REALLY soft!
