I bought this item hoping it would help in warming my granddaughters bottles when I go places. This item has been fantastic! I did experiment with cold water bottles til I found the perfect setting for her 4oz wide mouth bottles. Her mommy brings expressed breast milk and I warm with the first years bottle warmer. It is very fast and very consistent. Warms her refrigerated bottles in no time at all and she is very responsive to the bottle if her milk is body temp. I have not had a prob with overheating especially when the bottle is refrigerated. I thought I would use this if I wasn't home but now it is my primary way of warming her bottle. Of course you need electricity but I don't plan on taking her somewhere there isn't electricity. Holds two extra bottles and really keeps them cold for hours with the freezer pack. Love this item!!!!! Wish it was a little more travel convenient but not complaining because it does such a fantastic job. This has made her daytime transition from breast feeding to bottle feeding and back to breast feeding so smooth. The right bottle with the right temp has really made the difference for her.

I just had baby no. 2 after five years. I had given nearly every single thing away... Was thrilled to find this in the box with a few other items, and I've already started using it again. I'm the meantime, had added it to registry and saw reviews, so I felt compelled to contribute.

Not only does this work after five years, it works just as well as when I first used it (which was nightly for about eight months). It keeps the milk cold, as it is supposed to. And, it warms it exactly as it is supposed to. All you have to figure out is the right amount of water for the size of the bottle you have (how many ounces of milk). The amount if water you use varies between 2-4-6-8 ounces of milk. Period. There is no inconsistency, except that you should shake the bottle a bit when you pull it out to make sure the heated milk is evenly distributed-just like you would if you did it on stove or microwave. If you are looking for a product like this, do yourself a favor: buy it, and then follow the directions. You won't have a problem. Every friend having a baby has gotten this as a gift from me, and each of them loves it. Of all the gear I have, this is one of the most useful.

This warmer works perfectly with glass bottles! I used the Born Free bottles with it and it warms the bottle fast. I tried using Avent plastic ones but it took multiple cycles to finally warm the milk. Just use the directions and it will warm your bottle in one cycle! The extra compartment is nice for overnight cooling of milk.

i got this as a gift from my baby shower. work's good and my baby is now 8 months and still working. this product is also good for night time feeding if you don't want to get up and go to the kitchen to get milk from the fridge. My complain as other mom has suggested, water measurement is not accurate. sometimes the milk is still cold and if you put too much the milk is too hot that i have to put in the bottle in the frezzer to cool down.

I received this warmer as a babyshower gift six months ago. For the past six months I have used it everyday. So far the warmer has done its purpose. My problem as the other reviwers, was that the amount of water to the bottle are not accurate, It was not never warm enough,but once I added more water it was fine. For the price, the product is not bad.

I have to say, I didn't think I needed this item at first. I got it at a baby shower and thought I would return it. I didn't get to it before the baby was born and the second week in I was glad I hadn't! I love that I can store bottles in the back for during the night, fill up the water vials to the appropriate mark and warm the bottle contents without leaving the room. When you're up a couple of times throughout the night, this saves you time and effort. Recommend it to everyone.

The bottle warmer was more trouble than it's worth. I never could get a bottle to warm- it was either too hot or too cold. The suggested amounts of water (to create the steam that warms the bottle) for the bottle size and starting temperature were never correct. I found I had to add more water than suggested and then it just became a big trial and error experiment. I tried to use it for about a week and then gave up. My husband and I just ended up preheating plain water in the microwave to mix into our son's formula. I can not recommend this product based on my experience.

We use this warmer/cooler in our nursery and it's a huge help to prevent trips up and down the stairs for those late night feedings. We use the Avent Natural bottles that are very wide and they do fit, but the rims on the 4 oz bottles get very hot because the bottle barely comes above the top of the warmer so we have to be very careful when taking it out. Just have to remember to freeze the ice pack and keep the little reservoirs filled with water so we're ready to go.

Product is inconsistent. Dont buy or you'll get frustrated.
