I bought the tricycle for my son who just turned 2. He barely reaches the pedals but the other tricycles were way to small and i wanted a tricycle that would last him some time so it seems good for him. I like that it is sturdy and isn't going to fall apart or fade like the garbage plastic tricycles they now sell. I don't like the price but repurchased it somewhere else and returned the new one so I could get back money so that made it much more reasonable. I would suggest that the seat have different heights.

Bought this as first tricycle for a grandson. Item very well built and was easy to put together once holes aligned. Being typical rough active boy feel that it withstand the abuse and be around for other to come. Highly recommend!!! I never give a 5 star rating because it can always be better. The bell was a super hit but not for the parents since it's at their home!!!!!

So far we love the trike we got for our 2 year old son. However, I was a little unhappy that the trike was shipped in the original radio flyer box and could easily be identified as a trike. It was on my front step when I came home from work and anybody going by could have seen exactly what it was and taken it, not to mention that I had to leave my son in the car while I went and hid it in garage.

We were very happy with our purchase. The bike is very sturdy and relatively easy to assemble. This was the perfect size for a 3 year old as it was easy to get on and peddle.

For those complaining and that have low star counts that say that the steering is not working correctly, all I can say is you put it together wrong. That, and remember, lefty-loosey; righty-tighty. I'm 100% certain it was errors by the people assembling that lead to your issues.
That being said, I had no issues assembling the tricycle. The one thing that could be better but is clearly more to serve as a cover is the plastic peice that covers the clamp to keep the handle bars straight is just ever so slightly too small, and it does not cover the clamp /stem/neck completely. Everything else aside is fine mechanically.
The only other issue I have, which isn't a huge one, but I thought it would have been covered in a more durable paint, or powder coated. Clearly, the paint/finish is one of the shortcomings. That being said, it's a toy. It will take a beating.
It's a good, sound product. Something you would expect from a name like Radio Flyer.

Purchased for grandson, it is slightly too big for him now but by summertime he should be able to ride.

I read some negative and some positive reviews, and I had one of these as a kid --so I decided to take a chance. Wrong move! Ordered this for Christmas, since it was from Santa we had to keep it out of sight until Christmas Eve. When my husband was putting it together, he noticed the front fender was badly dented. Too late at that point to exchange it, so we put it under the tree. The size is perfect for our 3 year old, but she can't ride it well because the handle bars don't tighten -- so whenever she turns, the handle loses alignment with the wheels ( ie, the wheels stay straight but the handles are turned, or vice versa). Haven't gotten around to returning this yet, and I'll feel bad taking Santa's gift back. But this bike is garbage.

Love it. Just like other reviewers, my 3 year old did not enjoy pedaling on other trikes. But this one fit him so much better (he's tall with long legs). Now he wants to ride it all the time. Definitely worth the money.
