I purchased this crib last year. My daughter is now 11 months old and still sleeps in it. I have to check the screws once in a while because they come loose but otherwise I'm happy to have such a nice crib. The sides are stationary. I prefer this over drop sided cribs due to the risk of injury to the baby. We live in a small NYC apartment and it works well since we have to share a room. The base that holds the mattress does not go all the way to the floor and my 11 month old can already see over the top rail, so I doubt she will stay in it up until she is 24 months old, as the age limit suggests. I put another pad on top of the one it comes with for extra comfort. The one it comes with is only about 1 inch thick.

the wood is very "soft", dents easily when you put it together. bottom seems a little skimpy, I doubt it will last for 24 months, the mattress is thin but just as thin as a bassinet pad, so just add something thicker when the baby gets older. It's small so it's perfect for apartments and it was easy to put together.
bumper doesn't fit to good, not a lot of choices of bedding for these.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby Emily Mini Crib - Oak:

Nice color, light oak. Assembly took about an hour by a very handy husband. Seems sturdy, we'll see when babies come. We have a small room and these would be the only crib(s) that would fit.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby Emily Mini Crib - Oak:

Precious little crib. Just the right size for trips to Grammy's house. Not huge like a regular crib, but not tiny like a bassinet. Wood scratches easily so be careful during assembly, and make sure you keep picture handy. It is more helpful than written instructions. Also- would recommend purchasing upgraded mattress. This comes with a very thin little mattress. I'm using the original one as a changing table pad!

Comments about Million Dollar Baby Emily Mini Crib - Oak:

Great crib for small spaces. Very attactive & easy to assemble. So far it's holding up well. We did replace the mattress with a 50 coil one which is better. The only drawback is the bedding. Bedding is nearly impossible to find for these cribs. Wish they would specifically make bedding sets & sheets (not super expensive) for the mini cribs.

Our crib is now 6 years old, and has been used for all three of our children and survived two moves across country. We finally have the opportunity to convert it, and it was so EASY and still looks great when converted. I would recommend it to anyone and especially those who want to reuse it and or pass it down.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby Emily Mini Crib - Oak:

I would recommend purchasing this crib instead of a bassinet. Our child has a full size crib in his bedroom, but when he is sick, or we want to hang out in bed and watch TV, it is great to have him with us. If your bedroom has the space, it is a much better value than a bassinet, as the child can last in it for much longer. The assembly instructions are terrible....but if you just keep a picture of the crib handy during assembly, it goes pretty smooth. It doesn't really come with a matress, just a 1" waterproof pad...so the purchase of an additional matress is a must. This is a great product for what we use it for, but I don't know if I would want this to be a full time crib for my child.

Baby is not here yet but the crib seems sturdy and was easy to put together. It's the perfect size for the very small area we have designated for our baby (area size is about 6 ft x 8 ft). The design is very nice however the color was lighter than typical "oak". We have a very nice oak changing table/dresser and the crib does not match very closely.
