            I chose this desk because it wasn't made of plastic and the color scheme was more in keeping with my daughters room. We will see how it stands up to the test of time. My daughter is a little young for it (16 months) so she doesn't get the concept of drawing on paper. Right now the desk is stained from "washable" markers, so I guess that would be my only complaint.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
