My son loves this and so did I until I realized that it was losing the water. Not sure where it was going because there were no signs of leakage any where. But 15 months later it is completely empty.

At night and naptime my son loves to hear & see this Rainforest Soother. It really calms him at the end of a long, active day.
Trust me, it's well worth the price!!!

I highly recommend this. Its been 5 years now and I'm passing it on to my future niece. I like that it was hard to remove for their safety, but frustrating at 3am sheet change. When my girls see this on a shelf at the store they still are soothed by it. Great gift to give.

Used it for our son ..He stopped using it at 7 months but cought on again at 16mnts . He is 18 months and still works great!

we got one of these crib toys(soothers) when my baby was about 8 months old. before we were using a pull down toy that cranked loudly and had to be pulled every 2 mins. well this was FANTASTIC! yeah it's a little heavy but who cares its strapped on to her crib.
the first night we used it she was asleep in a very short period of time. when i would lay her down for a nap (we never did the sleep with the tv on thing) and she was fighting it, i would push the toy and the light distracted her long enough for her to forget she was angry. it soothes her right to sleep every time.
she is 14 months now and will wake up in the middle of the night and sit up and turn it on herself and go back to sleep :) i love that. tho i do wish it had a remote. only because sometimes she falls asleep before it stops playing and im always afraid when it goes quiet then starts a new song that it might startle her.
but all in all i love this toy. more than i have loved any toy ever. its so helpful and worth the money.
also i like how i have different options. i can have the light on or off, volume settings, different songs, and i can turn the moving parts on or off.

I loved this so much I wanted one even before I had kids. My daughter loved playing with the buttons and all the sounds. I just wish there had been a way to plug it in! It was rather difficult to get on-and-off the crib for battery changes so we never put it back up when we had our second child.

I didn't end up buying this for my son until he was 6 or 7 months old. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have gotten one sooner! By the time we got one, my son was already used to being rocked to bed so it doesn't work for us to help put him to sleep. So I thought that maybe it would occupy him enough in the morning that I could get a shower in peace. It didn't take him long to figure out how to push the parrot to turn it on and off. And he uses it for so much more than I expected. It happened one night when I thought I heard music coming over the baby monitor. I looked at the monitor to find that he had woken up, pulled himself over to the soother, turned it on then rolled over and went back to sleep. And when he wakes up in the morning, he goes straight over to the soother and plays with it until we are ready to come get him. My son is 13 months old now and he still loves this thing. He has even figured out how to turn the blue light on and off depending on his mood. With baby #2 only a few months from arriving, I am definitely getting another one because I am so happy with how great it is for my son.

Side note: our crib is a lifetime crib and it is thick so we had to wrap it around the crib rails to get it to work with our crib. It tends to slide down to the mattress (especially now that the mattress is on the lowest setting) but that typically works for us based on how he uses it. Just a pain when trying to change the sheets.

Such a shame as my son loved the jungle mobile but after 9 new batteries in less than two weeks it was a let down - the jungle leaves freeze or jam causing the mobile to stop then my son was becoming upset.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my 3 month old daughter. I love it. To get her to go to sleep, I'll put it in the mode for motion/lights/music, and she usually falls asleep almost right away. It doesn't play long in this mode, maybe 8 minutes. I've only a couple of times had to go in to put it back on if she was still awake, but she usually falls right asleep. In the music only mode it plays much longer, and plays different songs from when the motion and lights are on. The straps to hook it up to the crib don't line up perfectly with the slats of the crib, but I was able to get it on and off pretty easily. Basically, so far, this has been fabulous as far as getting my girl to fall asleep!

I have had three of these! One for each of my children. Best investment yet, and the music is even soothing for my husband and I when we hear it through the monitors. When our daughters became older then loved pushing the parrot so it would turn on the soother. I would buy another one when we have our fourth child!
