I rec'd this item from my registry. I love it and my daughter loves it! We use the music setting of this atleast twice a day, if not more for the past 20 months. We have only had to change the batteries once so far. It's easy operation allows for my 1 1/2 yr old to turn it on herself if she wakes up...which she does! Wakes up, turns on her own music, and falls back to sleep. It is great! It also offers a relaxing blue light setting, but my daughter prefers the lights turned off. Which this allows for both. I guess if I HAD to say something that it's missing, would be a remote control to turn on from "behind the scenes", but that hasn't been an issue so far. Durability is good too. She has recently started to use it as a step stool- luckily it's on the side of her crib and she can not escape. :) It is great! I can't say that enough!

This toy has been in my daughter's crib since she was old enough to sleep in her own crib (around 4 months old) and she is now 18 months old. She loves the rainforest sounds as well as the music. She even pushes the button to turn it on when she wakes up in the night and goes back to sleep. When she wakes up the first thing I hear over the monitor is always either the song it plays or the rainforest noises because she has turned it on. And she will even keep playing with it after I go in there to get her out of bed, pointing to the monkey and fish and tucaan, saying, "Whassat? Whassat?" (this is just how she plays). Although I was very surprised to see that it is priced at over [$], I'm sure that if it was up to me to purchase it again I definitely would. It really is worth it.

My baby was born four moths early. when he was finally able to have stimulating sounds they gave him it in the hospital. Not only do I love the sounds and actions of the characters, but I also love the different settings. He is soothed when we cut it on in the hospital, so I am surly buying one for our home so it will be ready when he arrives.

My daughter is 4 months old and cannot go to sleep without it. By the time the item shuts off she is completely asleep. Best gift I ever got.

We love this soother, its one of the most visually appealing we've ever soon and the music and nature sounds are beautiful and sound great. I don't think they were made well however, our first one had to be returned because the bubbler under the fish stopped working. Then with our second one after a few months use the motor started making a high pitched squeaking nose which is like nails on a chalkboard. I usually love fisher price but i'm very disappointed in the lack of quality of this unit.

My son loves this. We call it his radio. He pushes the parrott button and sits and watches it. Before he could sit up, we could hear him in his crib kicking it until it turned on. Its a little hard to take on and off the crib, but we haven't had to change the batteries that often. This came highly recommended by friends; I'm so glad we got it!

My 4 month old loves this. She calms down immediately when I turn this on and is asleep within minutes.

My daughter loves this, she turns it on/off whens she wants. When she can't sleep she listens and watches it in her crib and pushes the button back on over and over. It stays on for about 20 min. We never get sick of the songs either. The battery life isn't bad, she uses it about 3 times a day and I replace the batteries about every 3 months. I don't usually do reviews but I took the time to do one for this becuase I highly recommend it. Taking it off/on the crib can be somewhat difficult.

Baby loves watching and listening to this. Great for soothing him and helping him to go to sleep on his own. Also great as a distraction while trying to dress or change him.

My 2 month old is lulled to sleep by the swinging frog and monkey, as well as the "waterfall." It's a beautiful, well-crafted rainforest scene. It has a lovely glow when it's running. The picture on this website doesn't do it justice. I love the chirping sounds, too. One con is the music which we never play. When my baby's done with it, I'm tempted to put it in my office so I can watch it!
