I was considered high risk and was worried so I purchased this so I can hear my baby's heart beat. End of 1st trimester was when I was able to hear the heart beat. It was also neat to hear the baby move and kick later on in the pregnancy.

You will hear more noise from the room around, then from the baby. This is the absolute worse thing I have ever purchased.

I think it's pretty neat. I'm only 17 weeks, so I didn't expect to hear a heartbeat (and I didn't) but I could hear the baby's kicks. I'm certain they were kicks because the sounds coincided with the kicks I was feeling. My 4 year old found it fascinating to hear the baby kicking, and commented that "he kicks hard" Maybe this company has sold faulty equipment in the past, because the monitor I have works ok.

I paid for what I got and left them with my change. It wouldn't work. It wouldn't even pick up my heartbeat. That is how I knew it wouldn't work. Thought maybe the brand new battery was bad. So I bought new ones. Still nothing.... Glad my doctor had GREAT equiptment for me to rely on to know my little one is ok. I was scared to not hear anything until I tried to find my heartbeat with it and it would not even pick it up. Be careful what you spend your money on.

This product will only freak you out. It has never worked, and I am 38 weeks now. Thank God for the OB equipment and visits that only confirm that this is a piece of junk. The people that say it works must work for this company because I am a pregnant, skilled health professional and see absolutely no value in this product other than to lure anxious moms-to-be into spending cash. No wonder they don't allow any returns on this product. They already know that its worthless. Save your money, time, energy and heartache.

I am 39 weeks and have been using this since 28 weeks as the instructions say. I cannot hear the heartbeat or kicks like it says. I watch my baby roll in my belly and hear nothing on it. [*] I am in the medical field and can hear the baby's heartbeat better with a stethoscope.

Alot of people wrote this product didn't work, but I bought it any way because it was such a good price. I am almost 14 weeks and and I was able to find the heartbeat pretty quickly it probably took me 5 mins. I am super happy with so glad I didn;t listen to the other reviews

My wife (24 weeks pregnant) was nervous because the baby wasn't moving (noticeably)so I picked this up to help her hear ANYTHING to put her mind at ease. Although we couldn't find a heartbeat, albeit after only a 5 minute search and not wearing it properly, the baby started kicking at it and she was smiling again. We'll keep it around and try again at 28 weeks, which is when the manual said we should be able to hear a heartbeat.

I first started using this product in my 18th week. I didn't hear anything but static, which I expected that early in my pregnancy. I am now in my 38th week, using as directed, and still hear nothing but static. This product is a complete waste of money.
