The so-called "attached" drumsticks do not come "attached...deceiving. They are small and are easily misplaced. Not recommended. The sound is flat. I was hoping for colors/lights/music. What a let down.

The drum is a present for my three-year-old grandson. He hasn't received it yet, but he is very musical and the drum will be a good addition
to the musical instruments he already has. I would
have ordered it last year if I had seen it advertised.

Our 1 year old got this for his first birthday. He loves to bang away at the drum, but it's great because it's not too loud for me - and I'm one for having the volume on the lowest possible setting.

I can say that the strings others have mentioned on the drumsticks have been removed, so it's definitely easier to use.

This is a classic and I'm sure he'll be using it for years to come.

Product description and box says this drum is musical. It did not specify the only 'music' is what the child beats on it. There is nothing to this drum and the cords that hold the drumsticks are so short it is difficult to actually beat on the drum the way a toddler wants to play. My grandson lost interest in it the very 1st time he tried to play with it. I have to admit that since it is Little Tikes, it is sturdy. Especially now that it is already at the bottom of the toy box.

Purchased for my two youngest grandchildren for Christmas because they both enjoy the sound of banging on something. I was excited to find this product because it is only a drum without all the recorded music or other distractions of other toys. Both of the little ones love it and they are made very sturdy for the way little ones use their toys. They sit on it and drag it thru the house, it still looks like new, and they can play it and have a ball.

Perfect! just Prefect! I got this for my nephew for his 2nd birthday but he left it at our house once and my step daughter who was 6 months old at the time LOVED it! it helps with early hand eye coordination and we have about 6 of them at home! I may have to get more of them because its the only "noise" toy that doesnt make me wanna smash it!!

My daughter started to use things out of my recycle bin to use as "drums" so decided to look online for a toy drum for her 2nd birthday and came across this one and I'm happy I did. She absolutely LOVES it and mommy is happy to since it's durable and, as other reviewers said, I don't feel like tossing it out the window because of all the noise ;o)

My Grandson just loves his drum. He can hit it, throw it, sit on it, or even stand on it. The drum really takes a beating with my grandson, and it still looks brand new! Oh and the drum sound is a deep tone, so it doesn't make you want to pull her hair out. Great toy for toddlers!
