In a special circular shape thats comfortable for your baby and stylish for your home, this Elegance Round Bassinet in cherry comes complete with machine-washable white eyelet, polyester/cotton bedding that includes a lovely pleated skirt, a soft bumper, a fitted sheet, a ruffled drape canopy that is height adjustable, and a custom-fitted, vinyl and foam mattress pad. With features that include caster wheels so it's easy to move from room to room, a polyester-filled padded bumper that attaches with grip tape and ribbon ties, and a storage shelf beneath the bassinet that creates a storage area for feeding and changing necessities as well as toys, the bassinet is made with wood, wood composites, and powder-coated steel, and assembles with a screwdriver.

• With a generously-sized interior that measures 32" in diameter and 8.5" deep, the overall unit measures 32"L x 32"W x 49"H, measures 31" from the rim of the bassinet to the floor
• Bassinet is for use up to 20 lbs. 9.09 kg, 3-4 months, or until Baby can push up, roll over, or sit unassisted whichever age, weight, or activity limit comes first
• Please assemble this bassinet in the room where you intend to use it unless your doorways are wider than 32"
• Toys accessories shown with the bassinet are not included except as mentioned above

Sort of flimsy... fabric looks cheap, but for this price its not bad. Will serve its purpose, but I dont't think its something nice enough to hand down. I bought it for my daughter who is expecting her 2nd baby, which will be a c -section, and she is going to breast. Now she can keep the baby downstairs in her bedroom during the day and night time for the first few months, which will make things easier for her, especially for the night time feedings. It is pretty, its just the quality of the materials... wood and fabric. It does have a handy little shelf underneath it large enough to keep a basket with diapers and wipes...

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am expecting twins, so I looked up great bassinets for twins. This one popped up so I found it on baby's r us to buy it. I was soooooo excited, and all the reviews were great on it. We got it and I couldn't wait for my husband to put it together. The bedding is gorgeous, but the wood was warped, and the construction of it was REALLY cheap. It looks like a coat hanger is holding up the fabric. Not worth the money.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is the most beautiful bassinet that I've ever seen. Everyone who sees it oohs and ahhs over it. I will definately be passing this on through the generations. It is on wheels which makes it very convenient to wheel in to the bathroom to shower, or anywhere around the house. Only complaint is that the sheet is not the best quality and the mattress is kind of thin.
