I absolutely loved this model and was very happy with the way that it worked. However, it didn't even last 2 years and then it randomly quit. I took it apart to see if I could find a blown fuse or to see if the motor had been stuck or something, and nothing seemed to be wrong. It just didn't work anymore. I wish it would have come with a warranty or something. I am skeptical to buy the same model for a second time.

After trying numerous types of humidifiers, this is by far our favorite. This tower humidifier creates the greatest output of cool mist, runs all night and the tower style elevates the air flow so it's at head level...exactly where we need it. The other standard style humidifiers we tried tended to leak so we would set them on the floor with a towel underneath. They would just send the air under the bed (and not very much). This is the only humidifier that actually worked. We bought two and are very pleased with them.

My 3 yr old is asthmatic and requires a humidifier to sleep by every night. I love the tower models best when it comes to a humidifier. The down side, everyone has this model pegged...there is a lot of white noise. The machine is far too loud for my light little sleeper even on the lowest fan setting. It does seem more like a fan than a humidifier. There is no visible mist and it takes longer for the humidity in the room to reach even 35% in this very dry climate. For a tower "fan" I wish the mist would spray out the top of the model instead of the bottom of the unit. I worry about my carpet molding over time as much as we need to run the unit. I am also not wild about the idea of changing a filter, but they are easy to purchase and relatively inexpensive. The lights are dim which is a plus and while in operation cools the room down drastically. We have since moved the humidifier into the office because it works better as a portable a/c unit than a humidifier for my son's asthma.

We bought two of these, one for our room and one for our son's room, and his didn't even last a year before it died completely, and I do mean completely, we took the whole thing apart and my husband (who knows a few things about electronics) couldn't see anything wrong with it, it just died. And the one in our room (after only about a year of use) sounds HORRIBLE, it makes terrible noise and we are going to replace it soon. I could see if this happened once with this product, but twice? No, this is just a worthless humidifier and not worth the money!

I love having control over the humidity level. Some reviews complain about the noise, but I find that it is great white noise. This is a great purchase, and I may purchase another one for my son's room.

We have been using this in my son's room since he was born (he's now 5 months) and it works great. It keeps the room cool and the white noise is a bonus.

This thing does not humidify! The fan works great and is not too noisy, but did I buy a fan or humidifier??? Really now? I would rather buy two of the lower priced humidifiers than this thing! VERY Disappointing! *Very easy to fill, and control but NOT WORTH the $$$... Ummm this thing actually tells itself NOT TO WORK? Engineers, what were you thinking?!?

I got this for a gift at my baby shower for my first son. We only used it a handful of times. Once my second son was born I put it in his room and used it every night. The white noise is great and he sleeps all night long. I have read that cool mist humidifiers can help in keeping you from getting sick less often. Perhaps because it is cool the germs do not have the breadng grounds.

Great product, we registered for one when we were pregnant with our daughter, we loved it so much that we bought one for ourselves.Filters are easy to locate if you know where to look, [...]My only complaint is one of them is over two years old and it is starting to sound a little noisier then the other one.
