We bought this for my son prior to his first birthday since he loves trucks so much. I feel so sorry for this truck. Over the past year and a half it has been dropped from heights, ran into couches, kitchen table, walls and baby gates, sat on, thrown, and more. This is my son's absolute favorite toy (he's playing with it as I write this). When he was first walking he loved to walk behind and push it and now that he's 2, he takes all his others toys for rides, scoops up blocks with it. My son is larger for his age (4T at 2) and its difficult to find toys that he doesn't break. We have a winner!!! I'd buy one for every boy that loves trucks.

We bought this for my son shortly after he turned 1 because he loved trucks. This poor truck has been through everything over the last year. My son has dropped it from heights, ran it into walls and baby gates, jumped on it, sat in it, and more. Its his absolute favorite toy (he's playing with it as I write this). He's been a big boy since birth (37 1/2 inches tall at 2) and its difficult to find toys that he doesn't manage to break. He loves putting his other toys in it and and pushes it all over the place. This truck is the best!

We bought this for our 10 month old and at 4 years old he is STILL using it. His now 18 mo old brother loves it as well. It is large and sturdy- (although the manufacturer wont recommend it) it is large enough to fit your small child in the back and drive them around in it. My boys love that! The wheels do occasionally come off, but they pop right back on, no problem. We have left this out in the backyard occasionally, but always cleans up good as new with the hose. I do not like the actual digger part, but the boys like it. Also, they very rarely play with the actual building blocks. This is a must have toy for all boys! (And girls!)

My son plays with a truck like this one at his doctors office and he loves it so much that I had to buy him one. He got a lot of cool toys for Christmas but this is the one that he plays with the most.

Occasionally the bucket gets detached from the truck and I was thinking that they could improve on this but it snaps back on with no problem. Which to be honest I think is fine because if they did make it a more permanent articulation it would damage the truck if the kid manages to break it off.

I like the truck, he loves the truck and I would recommend to anyone.

We gave one to our grandson, and he put so many miles on it, we will be buying him a new one. His favorite toy. Even the best vehicles have to be traded in once in a while. Right?

My oldest son received this for his first birthday (he's now 3.5) in March 2008. He loved it then and both him and his 2 year old brother still love it. It is always a toy that's fought over.

I read the other reviews and do agree that if put in the mouth of a teething child, the paint will come off. Our wheels don't have any issues even after my 3yo pries them off and they are put back on.

Very durable. Kids that I got this for loved it. The quality of this product is very good and can take a lot of kid abuse.
